He wasn’t sure when it started. Maybe it was always there.
He could picture it clearly, the night that he saw it. The glowing wisp of an ember in depths of pitch black darkness. A wisp of a memory that always seemed to elude his grasp the moment he started for it. Perhaps that was a sign. His heart was already closed off. He supposed it made sense, he wouldn’t have courage otherwise.
He knew it wasn’t because of his family life. They were always so loving and nurturing. Eyes filled with loving affection for their one and only son. Their golden child. When he started showing signs of affinity for the fire, they thought nothing of it and supported him wholeheartedly.
“I knew the moment I set my eyes on your lovely face, that you were meant for more, you would be destined to become something more.”

And he did. For better or worse.

xxxxx clef is to say the least a bit erratic, he is in love with music, finding a way to put music into anything, bothering people with his early morning of screaming a song at the top of his lungs to the sunrise above him. he hardly sleeps, as he writes music at any time he can, whenever he can, anywhere he can- if someone comes across him, he's probably writing music but be careful not to get spotted by him, because he will probably start bombarding you with his love for music and about the latest song he's creating...he probably has about 5 in the works, and will probably start a new one in a day or two. don't get him wrong though! he is friendly, but others just can't often stand him, even though it isn't his fault, music is a special interest for him! and he just indulges deeply in the act of it. he always has a smile on his face, some wonder how he says so content and chipper all the time? do his cheeks hurt? does he ever get bored of what he does? you wouldn't be surprised either to find the collections of items that can create music that are within his home, if it can make a sound that he enjoys, he's taking it- and he has a massive collection of random nick-nacks. Their rats even help xem with xir work! adding little squeaks and chirps into his songs, his rat...or rats that like to come visit him, come and hide in the instruments he's created, even finding their way into his big fluffy tail or mane a good spot for a nap, clef loves them deeply. They talk in a singy song voice when talking to others. Their a Disney character.
