Aedion is a thief. He loves the rush he gets from stealing. Something he has desired though is power. Aedion wanted to feel the power of the gobs. Thus he decided to steal from one gobs. A major gob would be too strong, and Aedion was worried a demigob's powers would be too weak for what he wanted to do. Aedion knew he he would most likely need to imbue the gobs goo with his own to get the powers, but that detail would come later.

Aedion devised a plan to steal from a Minor Gob. He needed enough power to be able to create portals. That would make stealing easier, and prevent him from getting caught as often as possible. He got some goo extracting tools he stole from scientist and set out on his mission.

Fortunately, the minor gob had pretty relaxed security. I mean who would steal from a gob? Aedion was able to sneak into the gobs home in the dead of night and was standing next to them when he realized he didn't know how to extract goo without alerting the gob! That's when his plan went wrong. He just decided to go for it and the gob woke up.

Aedion began to run, he left with what goo he had and was sprinting away in a hurry. The gob was waking up and very angry. As he was running, he tripped spilling some of the goo on the ground, but he saw it open a portal. It must have responded to his desperation! Aedion immediately jumped in and started falling until he landed in a snowpile between two goobies having a snowball fight. Before they reached him, Aedion stuffed the vial of goo into his bag with a slight smirk at his triumph.
