clan link: faerie!!prompt:whether santa claws rewards them with gifts or coal varies from kingdom to kingdom!
fairies;; regal and poised, the fairies do seem like the type to receive presents for christmas! however, beneath their elegance and golden words, they are quite the opposite! they are manipulative and calculating to the kingdoms around them, and if santa claws is paying attention will definitely see that and give them all lumps of coal :c
elves;; the elves, though are goofy and love poking fun, are at heart, hardworking kitties! they always try their best and will probably be rewarded with cool gifts!
dwarves;; hmm, it seems that the dwarves have been pretty neutral! they haven't done anything nice but they weren't naughty either! maybe santa claws will reward them with some shiny gemstones but.. maybe he won't...
pirates;; it depends! some pirates haven't been on their best behavior, but they've
kind-of made up for it with their actions and good morals! so... maybe a handful of them will get presents and the others, some coal.
villagers;; they are little angels! though they can be a little chaotic and out of hand at times, they are truly just
nice kitty-beings at heart <3

Day 17Username: ~Arokai*Rokujo~
Clan link: CavernclanPrompt: WIldlife in and around the territory has grown fairly scarce during the colder months, with foxes and owls running rampant on the hare and vole populations in the forest- it's mostly just larger mammals left at this point in the season. Deer run about in droves, and there are plenty of porcupines- all of which are no help to a clan at all. Instead, Cavernclan depends on a colony of bats roosting in a nearby cavern (rabies? Pshhh... Not a problem [for now]). On top of this there are plenty of small roosting birds on the cliff face outside of camp, and plentiful fish in the water systems nearby. While easier prey is scarce now, at least prey is not altogether gone. Most of the wildlife nearby can stand the cold fairly well, with the exception of the migrating species of fowl who leave early on. Food for the herbivores is still surprisingly easy to come by for the most part, due to plenty of berry bearing bushes and coniferous trees to shelter smaller plants and roots. While survival is certainly harder, it's not impossible.

Prompt: Yes! There are actually several! Starting with the Great Horned Owls, these big predators often keep cozy during the short winter within their little nests filled with down feathers and warmth. Next, there's the classic red fox. They don't live as close to Ocean Clan as the Great Horned Owl do but they do tend to travel near to their camp on occasional warm climate. Lastly, all the fish that live in the bay right beside their camp and the smooth stone ramp they use to get to their cozy, tunnel system home.

Day 17Username: Cellist
Clan link: ReachClanPrompt: Many of animals migrate around ReachClan's territory throughout the year. In particular are deer and elk, which migrate from the frigid mountains to the warmer valley which ReachClan calls home. Following them comes the occasional wolves, however, so the cats of ReachClan remain vigilant for these rare encounters, though typically the wolves pass them by in favor of smaller prey. Fish are quite inaccessible this time of year, so the clan becomes reliant on digging for mice or rabbits who burrow underground to escape the cold. Occasionally an unlucky fledgling has stumbled into a den of hibernating snakes- a memorable experience to be sure.

What is the wildlife looking like right now? I’m sure the snow isn’t being too helpful with their everyday needs to survive.. So where does everything hide? Is there an animal in your territory that can brave the cold?
The Travelers' wildlife has no issue with snow -- or any extreme weather, for that matter. Each day, the prey, predators, and other creatures are built to live in that day's environment, weather that be a freezing forest or scorching desert. It's highly unusual to find an animal that doesn't match the landscape, and those that don't are usually that way for a reason.

Day 17Username: 0Zero0
Clan link: Tailless CometPrompt:Like SnowWrath themselves the land is as beautiful, no gorgeous, as words cannot describe. It isn't just a winter white, the grey hues, and blue peaks blending with the evergreens and blue frozen cricks. Most creatures here are used to this weather and wouldn't bat an eye at the cold, but none stand out like the snow hare. Its majesty is that it not only blends with it's surroundings, but has a pelt that could warm you up just by looking at it. Too bad not many are strong, smart, or fast enough to catch them.

Clan link:CraterclanPrompt:What is the wildlife looking like right now? I’m sure the snow isn’t being too helpful with their everyday needs to survive.. So where does everything hide? Is there an animal in your territory that can brave the cold?Drought is the main struggle of the desert in winter, but most animals living here are very well adapted to surviving these conditions, from primarily seed based diets for the rodent like animals, to their super effective kidneys that don’t waste a single drop of water. All wildlife is nocturnal though the heat of the sun is too much for even the hardiest animals, everyone and everything burrows during the day in order to escape the glaring heat of the sun. Including the clan living in an abandoned burrow.

Clan link: GlacialclanPrompt:Most every animal goes into hiding during the winter in the area that Glacialclan calls home. Of course there are a few exceptions, mainly the few elk herds in the area and snow hares, and there are always a few birds flying about each day. Those hares and birds are what Glacialclan hunts to keep themselves fed during the winter. But usually other prey can be found in their burrows, huddled for warmth. One of the best things about winter is that any bears that could possibly be in the area, though if there are they've never been seen, are dormant for the most part.

Day 17Username: miraphoenix
Clan link: The TimelostPrompt:Zahrek looked out of the cave, blinking their eyes against the cold. Sunshore had climbed up onto their shoulders and was purring, trying their best to be some sort of warmth for the pterosaur, but the cold was starting to become increasingly oppressive.
Not all creatures seemed to mind the cold and the snow, however; the pair had gone scouting two days previously, and had seen all sorts of animals wandering around.
Of these, the most impressive were the gigantic shaggy quadrupeds with enormous tusks and short ears, who shoveled aside the snow to access the remains of grass and lichen. They had been of special interest to the scouts, as the foraging of these enormous creatures revealed cold-slowed mice and voles, easy pickings for the hunters of the clan.
As cat and pterosaur looked out of the cover of the clan’s cave, both watched a bull moose pushing his way through the snow, his long legs carrying him above the icy crust. Sunshore sighed and Zahrek had to agree; it was far better to leave the snow to those creatures who seemed to enjoy it!
