Though it's commonly suspected that the poor flycatcher no longer walks along mortal domains, the more "positive" raptors claim that Glacialpaw ran off because she simply couldn't put up with Bromeliadwicker's perpetual grumpiness...

Prompt:
Locke, really. Despite his ability to blend into the snow, he despises the cold; it makes his bones ache and his joints sore. He wants to focus on his work in peace, but the cold just won't leave him be! It's unfair!
The others in the group often tell him that he'll get over it, but he gripes about it anyways - it's getting in the way of his work! He's tired! He can't wait for the spring season to come around, so he can focus on his work again. Siren's Gale is getting annoyed with how much he complains, though..

Braveflight is the one that grumbles about the cold the most, though Thornwing was a close second for a little while. The tom just complains about the cold, complains about having to go out in the snow and get his perfect mane covered in ice and how much of a pain to clean it it is. The rest of the clan is absolutely tired of it, but they know that he doesn't mean to be annoying or anything of the like.

Prompt: There are quite a few cats who dislike leafbare within Moonclan- none of the firestarters enjoy it much, since despite their natural higher body temperature they are still extra sensitive to the cold. Most of Moonclan's Firestarters can be found wearing thick cloaks and keeping small balls of flame close to them, to ward off the cold. Rowanrust and Pineblaze are usually the two that hate it the most, or at least are most vocal about it, out of the firestarters.
Salem is also not a huge fan of the winter moons. Not enough food, too cold for their thin, scraggly fur to retain much warmth, and their job keeping the residents of Moonclan healthy and happy (well, more just healthy) is that much harder. Without Egg and Newftlick, many of their herbs and gardens needed to make their elixirs would die off- at least the lifebringers can keep those thriving through leafbare.

Although he's not the head complainer of the group- that role taken by Pikespine-, Quicksilver never seems to be able to shut his mouth when it comes to grumbling about the cold winter weather. "The snow sticks to your fur and makes it impossible to run outside with all the snow banks in the way! It's harder to find prey to chase! No amount of running up and down the castle halls will warm your frozen paws! Everything is frozen and slippery! It's awful!"
Needless to say, the squire loves to direct his enthusiasm to constant complaining when the cold seasons hit.

Prompt:
The cat who complains the most, far and away, about the cold and the freezing rain and the darkness that comes with a Havenclan winter, is Resintouch. As her role in the clan often takes her into the tree branches, the cold season means an extra layer of difficulty for the Grove-Tender, which she profoundly doesn’t appreciate. Besides, the difficulty in hunting means that there are less chances for celebration, which is another strike against the winter season for Resintouch. She tends to gripe about the weather until the weather turns, and the ice melts from the river.

Prompt: rabbit. the same cat who complains that there isn't enough festive joy within the clan is also the same cat to complain about the weather conditions. having joined the clan from a kittypet life, rabbit was previously used to the warmth that twoleg houses provided, yet now has to deal with the cold outdoors. even though she picked this life and was well aware that the outdoors was cold she still finds a way to complain, much to the dismay of her other clanmates.

Sun Skip tapped a paw against the top of the snow, then lurched backwards onto the snow-free grass behind her, licking her paws. "It burns," she whimpered between licks.

Dragonfly raised an eyebrow, cautiously pressing a paw against the top of the snow. When nothing happened, she took several steps forward, the white powder rising up to her knees. "It's not any colder than it usually is," the tabby said, "and it's certainly not burning."

As if to prove her point, the cream she-cat bounded forward several more steps, leaving cat-sized hollows in the snow. "Come on, we need to cross this weird snowy place if we're going to get back to the others."

Sun Skip hesitated, eyeing the snowdrifts cautiously. "Okay," she meowed, nodding. "I.. probably just needed to adjust to the temperature. I'll be okay."

Dragonfly smiled, hopping a few steps further and waiting for Sun Skip to follow. The red tabby placed a white paw against the snow, stepping forward and letting her leg sink in. She gritted her teeth, moving another paw forward, then a third..

Then Sun Skip leapt backwards against, fighting back tears and hissing at the pain in her legs. "I can't," she mewed desperately. "I'm telling you, Dragonfly, the snow is burning me."

Dragonfly sighed, walking back across the snow through the path she'd made and sitting down at the edge between the snow and the field of grass.

Sun Skip raised a paw, angling it so Dragonfly could see the skin. "See?" the red tabby asked. "It burnt me."

Dragonfly leaned forward, eyes widening. "Oh," she said. There were burn marks on Sun's paws, though they seemed to be healing on their own now that she wasn't in contact with the snow. Sun Skip wasn't faking this; the snow was actually burning her.

The leader looked around, studying her surroundings for a possible solution. Clearing the snow out of the way for Sun Skip to follow would take too long, and the she-cat wasn't small enough to ride on Dragonfly's back. But maybe..

"We can walk across the trees," Dragonfly said, rising to her paws. "If there's a gap between the trees and wherever the snow ends, we'll figure out a new solution from there."

Sun Skip nodded, relieved, and the two headed towards the trees to cross the snowy area. It seemed they'd need to keep Sun Skip away from snow -- and other cold things -- from now on.

Prompt: "UGH! My pelt's all soggy!"

Smokewhisk whined, somehow making Lightripple even more irritated. "Yeah, it's called snow. Deal with it." She grunted plainly, swiping her paws against damp moss to clean them of the wet dirt and snow. "But I don't like it!" He responded with another whine. Lightripple fought to control her short-patience temper. "Smokewhisk, shut your trap or the entirity of the remaining prey will hear from miles away." She warned him roughly, at this point caring very little of what he thought of her lashing out at him. Oh Starclan, please, for the sake of my life, get this tom out of my fur!

Smokewhisk is another original cat from the dawn of Ocean Clan's assembly. He came only a few weeks after Thrushslip and his crew found Tansystar. As a previous kittypet, Smokewhisk used to be spoiled and an indoor cat. Besides the fact he's been living with the clan for over a year, Smokewhisk still whines and complains about nearly everything which drives his clanmates to dislike him even more. Other than that, those aren't his only negative traits. He's a deceitful, pampered fur ball who, when he doesn't get his way, tortures others with his consist rumors and lies about those he's bonking heads with.
