prompt: pond actually loves the snow. there's nothing they enjoy more then going out after a deep freeze to slide up and down the slippery sidewalks. unfortunately, their body is actually pretty weak to chillier temperatures, and they almost always get a cold the day after playing in the snow. that has yet to stop them, however!

prompt: Living in the wilderness, Daxter is indifferent to the snow. It's something he could do without, but also something that he appreciates when it's around. He dislike the utter inconvenience it causes, especially when he has to go out and save all the animals that are trapped underneath. One year he found a nest of baby birds that had been abandoned by their mother- probably because she couldn't find them, or worse yet, because she got scared off by the snow. It is unusual to see baby animals in winter, since mating season usually occurs after. So this little nest of swallow chicks were a miracle. He rescued them and raised them within the warmth of his cabin, hoping they'd grow up strong enough to make their own home in the woods. Daxter had no idea what he got himself into though, because years later the now grown-up swallows still hang around and expect full authority of the fireplace at winter time.
Despite the hours of shovelling snow, slushing in the melted ice and the uncomfortableness of chattering teeth, Daxter adores the beautiful scenery winter brings. The subtle snowflakes on the bare tree branches in the beginning transforming into large lumps of snow on brittle little twigs. The blanket of white that covers his surroundings gives him a feeling of comfort, especially when he can snuggle up in front of the fireplace.

prompt: Sage has a love-hate relationship with the cold and the snow to say the least. They the peaceful, quiet mornings they come after a long snowfall. But it also means that their beloved plants are withered and dormant for the winter. They miss seeing all the usual green that surrounded their home during the winter seasons. But they do sometimes go out and play in the snow, jumping through it and making a family of snow goobs and goos before heading back inside to get a cup of hot chocolate and watch holiday movies until they fall asleep.
