Narcissi was born thinking they were the best of the best. Other crowntails either wanted to be with him or be him. He knew this too as his ego and arrogance was very over flared. He also was a flirt and a constant heart breaker, the only crown tailed he really cared about is himself. Though he was intrigued when he saw one crowntail who didn’t really take to his charms or his exotic looks. She just did her best to exist you know? So Narcissi got envious and so tried showing off to her. She would simply turn her head. Narcissi huffs before hatching a plan. He swam away to find a very powerful opponent to show off his skill and might in front of her. When he brought back the large sea creature to show off his might, he got many admiring eyes but not of the mare he had his eyes on. This frustrated the stallion so he approached her asking “Why?”. The mare can only snort in laughter, “You’re not my type, I prefer gentle and caring crown tails. You also have a reputation as someone who I shouldn’t associate with.” This broke Narcissi but he didn’t know why, after all it wasn’t like he fell in love right? He just wanted a challenge. Narcissi watched as the mysterious mare swam away to join a different crown tail of indiscriminate gender. Narcissi was envious for a long while and didn’t want to believe her words. Eventually though he realized that she was right. He stopped playing around and toned down his ego. This really helped with showing his more kinder traits, he was always patrolling for danger to protect his swarm. He also would gather materials to use as gifts. He still got admiring gazes but it wasn’t just for his beauty anymore. He turned a lot of crown tails down as he wanted to meet someone who didn’t know him, a fresh start if you will. That was until now…

Personality: Summer hates structure and routine and prefers more of a chaotic life deciding when and where she should do or not do something. This chaos is something she believes she was destined to be - One look at Summer and you can see why. Even her genetics are chaotic, deciding against the usual way of creating one being but instead merging two (or maybe more!) into the chimera you see today. But within that chaos is an order and law that Summer adheres to in her own way. The kindess she shows to others, the openess she exudes in order for others to open up to her and the knowledge of the world she has that enables her to tackle most situations is almost calming, even if she is running around at 100 mile an hour at the same time!

Mystery, much like her name, is one shrouded by mystery. The way she was found, the way she behaved, it was all rather peculiar. Her glistening body was a stark contrast compared to the place she was found in - a forgotten and polluted pond in the remains of a burnt forest. Before the fire, a pond stood there but after the disaster and multiple seasons, a gray pond filled with ashes and debris was all that’s left of its previous glory.

When she was found, Mystery never ran off. She stood there, silent and brooding. Her eyes carried a look of sorrow and fear. Her ears were pressed back. However, she made no attempts to be hostile. She stood where she was, rooted in the pond. The odd part was that she made no attempts to fight back when ushered into a trailer.

Aside from malnutrition and dehydration, Mystery was relatively healthy. When she was placed in the quarantine paddock, she paid the crowntails in the adjacent paddock no heed. She ignored them and grazed. By dusk, her true colours seem to show up. She was gone by the next morning - vanished into thin air like a ghost. A search party was called and after searching for nearly a day, she was found right back at the forgotten pond.

Just like before, she allowed herself to be loaded on the trailer. However, the same thing kept repeating, night after night. Mystery quickly learned how to latch and unlatch the locks on the stalls and paddock which allowed her to leave whenever she wanted.

At this point, it was rather tiring to keep repeating the same thing over. Eventually, they just resorted to placing clean water and food everyday at the pond for Mystery. It wasn’t until 2 months later when their efforts paid off. One fine morning, the owner stepped out to see the illusive mare in the paddock with the rest of the crowntails. While she stood a far distance from them, it was clear that she was the one who let her out since no one else was awake and letting the crowntails out was suppose to be the owner’s job.
