pkmn name: bandito or "bandit"
gender: male
prompt:
Bandito often finds himself lost. Not physically lost but more of an emotional sort. Bandito has been passed down from owner to owner, eventually ending up in the streets. For your information, every pokemon that ends up in the streets has to learn the inescapable. Street-life eventually taught him how to survive and steal to win. Not only that but he became stronger than he would, fat and lazy in a warm home. He became closed off to anyone and everyone, no matter their attitude towards him. He always fought to steal and stole to fight, that was his only rule. Kindness was non-existent and survival was key in the streets filled with bigger and stronger pokemon, could you blame him for the loneliness and lost feeling that ate away at him?

Bandit eventually slowed his pace of always stealing from others after a certain incident that changed the way he perceived mankind. One cold winter morning, he nearly froze to death, never stopping the race to keep warm for rest because he knew that if he stopped Bandito wouldn't live to steal another piece of bread, which forced him to power through the city's thick mounds of snow, whether it be digging, going around, or barreling straight through. Bandito, for once, wasn't alone in his quest to find food and warmth. A liepard was overheard, their quiet paws making nearly no noise when they crunched against the freezing cold snow. Bandit, though, knew his way around the city, and from the sound of it, this liepard most likely was an over-fed house cat.

So he wasn't worried, neither did he pay much attention to the fact the liepard was hunting him. Bandito quickly realized this once the liepard attempted a faulty pounce an inch too far to the right, barely offering a fast escape for the tired rat pokemon. Bandito, exhausted and nearly frozen onto the pavement, was awfully slow and painfully tired which offered many close calls for the end of his story, thanks to the hungry liepard. After only several minutes of running, Bandit managed to scramble into an alley, although it was a dead end. A homeless human sat, warming up and shivering near a fire, their seemingly only pokemon, a pancham, startled by the sudden noise of the liepard chasing poor Bandito.

Luckily, though, he wandered into the perfect alley. The homeless man stood to action, hurriedly telling his pancham to attack the liepard. The liepard quickly realized it wasn't worth the fight and darted off. After being offered food and a warm place to sleep for the night, Bandit couldn't deny, even though he had very much wanted to. The night had just begun and they'd all have a long time before dawn where the sun could come out and shed some light into Bandit's life. Several hours later, Bandit was strong enough to inspect the alley, walking around and sniffing for any holes in the side buildings to sneak into. He noticed a clothing stand at the very end with somewhat ragged clothing, small hats, and coats but all seeming very used. The pancham followed him, curiosity most likely getting the best of him.

The pancham reached out to one of the lowest racks of clothing, showing a gentle smile to the grouchy and prickly ratata. He pulled his paw back and revealed a small pokemon-sized red silk scarf, offering it to the little ratata.
