Ghost buddies? Mila doesn't have any single ghostly buddy but she is friendly with the spirits of her neighborhood. There aren't very many (thankfully, for her sanity) so she knows most of them by face if not by name. There's a few animal ghosts including a couple of dogs, one cat, a pair of fire-lizards, and a few songbirds that she likes to visit and "feed" or just keep them company. They tend to show up fairly often, and have occasionally followed her into her apartment. Of the sapient-being spirits, there's one rainbow paint wolf who hangs around the art gallery and likes to talk about the latest in art, a pair of primal sima children who "live" in the park and play with other children, and a capriwolf who seems to like people-watching.
Personality: Mila is generally mild-mannered but a bit spacey. She likes to emphasize and visualize her words by creating illusions around her. Since she constantly uses her power, she tends to have a bit of a haze that can be mistaken for a glow. While she isn't very social, she enjoys being in places with other people without the obligation to interact; she often goes to cafes or parks to just be, while working on her personal or work-related projects. Even though she interacts with ghosts an an almost-daily basis, she has a healthy fear (although she would call it "reasonable caution") of "spooky" things and places, and likes to consider herself too practical to be the protagonist of a horror movie.
