End date: Nov 5 2021
Competition: This is a developed character comp. Pretty forms, possible art and writing for them is ideal. I want to know what they are like with their 'twin'. How they grew up? Likes? Dislikes?

Phenotype: Leopard Appaloosa
Eye Color: Red
Notes: N/A

Show Name: A Sudden Shadow

Barn Name: Erasabeth

Gender: Mare

Egyptian or Medieval tack: Egyptian

Tack color: Same as the eyes

Prompt:

Thoughts on her twin (Side note, I don't know how the species lore works around a mare having twins so I'm going by how dangerous it is for a normal real-world mare <3 ):
It's been a long time since I thought about you. I thought that I would be fine by myself, that I could forget that you existed and be happy, but the truth is? I miss you, so much. We've been called a rare breed all our lives and that's because we survived when others could and or should not. Twins are a struggle and we surprised many alongside mother with how strong we were. I don't remember how or why they separated us, all I know is that one day you weren't by my side and no matter how much I called and called, you didn't come back, I looked everywhere for where you and yet day by day, your scent faded until it just wasn't there anymore.

I suppose that's when I started trying to pretend you didn't exist, that you were some figment of imagination from a lonely foal who wanted nothing more than a sibling. It worked for a while I suppose, I got on with my life and I suppose you must have done too. It wasn't until recently that you came back into my thoughts unannounced

Personality:
A quiet horse who is often found simply looking into the distance as if lost in her thoughts. Despite her quiet nature, you won't find her letting anyone walk all over her. Early experiences have left Erasabeth as one keen to hear others praise her pale coat and unusual markings, so she often refrains from rolling in the dirt as much as possible.

History:
My foalhood was as simple as it could have possibly been while being something as special as a twin who not only survived but somehow took the fight to live as seriously as possible. Even after my twin was sold and my world shattered? I continued fighting, ignoring any silly attempts by other fillies to try and knock me out of my perch as the dominant force of the little herd that was the younger females. Watching them stare at the mares and their foals in the field nearby became a hobby for me and I found the curiosity of the foals amusing but stayed well enough away so as not earn the ire of their mothers. I'd seen others learn the hard way time and again so learned from their mistakes.

Congratulations! Even with you being the only entry, you put the effort in! Take care of this sweet lady <3
