What are Direcorns?
Direcorns are mystical creatures, said to be part dire wolf, and part unicorn. They were first found up high in snowy mountains, where they had fluffy backmanes and thick coats. Additionally, their back feet have strong hooves to climb the icy terrain. They also have small, pointy horns to mark areas and to protect themselves. Direcorns are also very social creatures! They enjoy being around other direcorns and other species like humans! This unique species' size varies, but tend to be in the range of 3-5ft tall, but can be even bigger or smaller!

Non-Rarity Traits:

Weight edits, Expression Edits, scarsxxxxxxxx

Common:

Teeth, Claws, Hair edits, Backmane edits, Custom Tails, Fur Edits, Sclera Color, Custom Tongue, Colourful Blood, horn edits, ear type edit

Limited:

Extra/Missing Eyes, Missing Limbs (2 min), Body shimmers/glow (anywhere other than end of tail/horn), Multiple Tails (Max of 4) Height edit, Wings (1 set),No Tail, unusual horns (horns more similar to other animals)

Mythical:

Multiple Wings (Max of 5 sets), Heterochromia, Gem growth, Gem Horn, Multiple Heads, Extra Ears, Multiple Halos, Extra Limbs (maximum of eight), Exposed Bone, Gene Splicing (with approval only), Full Coloured Eyes

Ancient:

No horns, No magic aura, No foot horns

Magic Guide

Each Direcorn has their own magic type, whic is always reflected through their Eyes, Paws and Magic Aura. It's also occasionally expressed through their horns and hooves.

Basic:
Artists can freely have basic magic combinations
Water, Earth, Fire, Air, Floral, Faunal, Electric

Limited:
Artists can make combinations using a limited magic every 5 basic magic adopts they make
Poison, Frost, Melody, Storm, Healing, Fungal

Ancient:
Ancient Magic combinations are not allowed at this time.
Solar, Lunar, Time, Space, Life, Death, Void

•Direcorns are a closed species. Only official staff are allowed to make adoptables.
•Freely obtained Direcorns can only be traded for other species and artwork
•You cannot use the Direcorn Base for profit if you are not an official artist
•Please do not mini mod the threads/discord, and leave any questions on the thread to staff to answer
•Respect all staff members and artists
•Respect the community members. Don't whine, complain and/or threaten a staff or community member if you don't win an adopt
•Transferring a Direcorn out is species has to be done with the species owner, and original artist's permission
•Users can gift and trade Direcorns freely, as long as they post on the archive update thread. Direcorns are not allowed to be resold for a currency they were not purchased with.
•Direcorns may be readopted publicy in either a thread, or the discord server.
•Readopts must have a winner selected within a month after the deadline, otherwise staff may interviene

•Artists may make adopts in any Free or paid manner (FCFC, Raffles, Competitions)
•Artist must be active (making adopt, nursery batches, archive updates) at least once in a 3 month period
•Staff members will recieve a 1 limited trait myo per active month, which can be combined for a higher tier, or split into items with permission from the owner
•Guest Staff (Artists, Archivists, Moderators) must preform all duties assigned to be considered for a permanent position
•Guest Staff, at the end of their trial, will recieve 1 Uncommon myo ticket
•Activity for staff is as follows; minimim 1 adopt/nursery batch/user custom for Artists, logging adopts, trades and customs for Archivists.


As regular artists, you are allowed to offer Basic and Limited magic types for your customs.
Free customs need to be Basic.
Minimum Custom Prices are...
100 C$ / $5 USD - Standard
+180 C$ / $10 USD for Limited Magic
+80 C$ / $5 USD for Limited Edits [not per, this covers all limited-edited-customs]
You cannot offer higher rarities than that.
Paid Adopt Minimums are 80 C$ / $5 USD for Basic Magic, 200 C$ / $10 USD for Limited Magic/edits.
Paid Nursery batches are 80 C$ / $5 USD per kit minimum.

Myo and Transfer Rules

• Myos can only be made if the user has the appropriate myo ticket and/or edit items
• Myos can be created by any user, and can be done for non-species currencies
• Artist Search entries can be used as myos, if permission is obtained from the artist
• Line Transfers can only be done for Direcorns on the v.1/v.2 lines
• Myo Direcorns are not real until approved by staff and must have the fake sign until approved
• Transfers must be approved by the owner of the species
• Direcorns must be owned for 1 week before they can be bred, traded and gifted

Breeding Rules

• Direcorn breedings can have up to 3 parents, of any gender or orientation
• Breedings can have up to 4 pups (Randomly rolled, or with an item)
• Breedings that are incestuous are not allowed at all
• Breedings that involve kits are not permitted
• Direcorns can be bred an unlimited amount of time
• Nursery artists openings will be held on the thread publically. You may not pm artists about opening slots.
