Prompt: Finch used to be brave. He even chose to enter knight training when the time for him to pick his clan profession. Knight training involves the cats going through many difficult tasks to prove they will be able to protect the clan no matter what. This includes what is now Finch's worst fear, swimming.

As a kit Finch was never afraid of anything, he wanted to follow in his dads footsteps and be a knight. During his free time, Finch would spend his time doing mini Knight trials while out with his mother. His favorite activity was swimming when they would relax by the watering hole. His mother would joke he should have been born a fish, and any beast who fought him near water would easily fall.

During knight training, some of the other initiates were jealous of Finch's skill during the swimming sessions. They knew they wouldn't be able to outshine him and worried it would affect their chances at knighthood. As such, the two cats rigged a trap that caused a rock to fall on Finch's tail and pin him to the bottom of the river they were training in. Finch had never known how scary or treacherous the water could be until he couldn't breath. Luckily the trainers were able to save Finch before a terrible fate befell him.

In the end, the two cats were punished and removed from the knight training. Storm Knights has no place for unhonorable cats defending the clan. Finch also switched from knight training to healing, his mothers profession. He couldn't stand going near the water after the accident, not even to hunt fish.

Prompt: Talltail was proud to be a Hunter, and it was his very first mission. He was even going with the clan leader and his littermate, Strongpaw! There was nothing that could ruin this day! He trotted onto the field, following their leader with pride and excitement. Show them the tricks, the moves, how everything worked! He was open!

What they had not counted on was running into a dog. "We... we need to escape," he told his Clan Leader.

"No... we run for nobody. We stand and FIGHT." And fight they did. It was a needless fight, but each gave it everything they could. Claws, teeth, hissing and spitting... but the new hunters did not have the same skills as their Clan Leader. The dog's teeth came down upon Strongpaw's neck, and Talltail found themselves thrown into a blind rage.

"HISS! TAKE THIS!" He screamed, only to find the thick canine skull butted into his own head. The world turned dark, as he passed out from the strike. When he woke up again, he was back with the others. Only.. Strongpaw was not there.

"Where is..." Their medicine cat looked down.

"Gone to the stars, I am afraid. But don't you worry none. I will ensure that something like this does not happen again... anyways. You are lucky to be alive! Please rest and... try not to take it too hard. This was not your fault. It was HIS..."
