First Love: Whiskey's first love is not a sentient being; rather, it is an abstract feeling - something she feels she has known her entire life, yet has only recently discovered.

It's not often that we at Waltz the Line Sanctuary get a collie that's so spot on for the Title Program, yet here we are with Whiskey. She started out... Well, not terribly obedient - or friendly, for that matter. Whiskey was dubbed the emotional aggressor in many quarrels with our dogs - I would like to reiterate that she did not physically start fights, nor would she tolerate them. Instead, Whiskey enjoyed punking the other dogs - nipping at their tails during outings, then acting all sweet and innocent when she knew she'd gotten caught in the act. She's a mischievous little brat, that's for certain; however, one of our workers had begun taking note that Whiskey did exceptionally well with tricks.

We began tentatively taking Whiskey out for practice Obedience Trials, and that's where her colors really shined true. The collie had always excelled in obedience tasks, though her old owners had never thought to take her anywhere to let that energy flow - rather, they thought the party tricks were cute, and left it at that.

I don't think Whiskey loves a lot of things. Treats, mildly. Other dogs? Probably not as much as we'd like to think. But Obedience trials? It's like she was made for them.
