Kennel/Stable: Badger Print KennelsShow Name: BPK's White Mountain Run
Call Name: Mountie
Gender: Male
Age: 1 year
Meaning behind name (if any): White Mountain is the second-to-last stop on the Iditarod Trail, and the run to it can be one of the toughest and most dangerous runs on the trail since it crosses open (frozen) water and often has hazards. This area is treacherous and actually took out two mushers a few years back due to a blowhole! Blowholes are a spot of thin ice where the pressure builds up and breaks through, shooting icy water in the air.
