elowen sniffed along the ground, her paws light and eyes open. she searched the tree line, looking for something. for what, she did not yet know, but she still searched. elowen likes to partake in hunting. while the other collies enjoy running the cattle or even competing, she’s always preferred the old fashioned way of hunting.

a stick broke off to the side, catching elowen’s attention. her head remained low, but her ears perked up, listening for any more evidence of a creature lurking in the woods. there, a crinkle of leaves. hunching down, she stalked forward. whatever it was, she hoped it’s not to big. she could take a rabbit, vole, hell, even a fox, but nothing bigger than that.

it looked like great fenrir was hunting with her, for a small black rabbit darted out from the underbrush, right in front of her. she gave chase and quickly caught it. but, before she could react, it kicked up into her chest, making her release it. elowen sighed, but thought, there’ll always be tomorrow.
