We normally don't take in many cats (we usually work with rats, rabbits, reptiles, birds, etc.), but due to the pandemic and how bad the feral kitten season has been, we've been picking up the cases that get turned away by other rescues. To make things a littler cheerier, we ask for help in facebook groups to come up with the absolutely most obnoxious names for the cats as possible (and we do a kitchen theme lol). These lists always bring a smile to my face, and I hope they bring you some joy too <3

So this actually caught me right in the feels? The first ferret I ever had (was maybe six at the time?) was actually named Max, and he was a sweet grey floof. He's long since passed from old age, but I know how much trouble it can be to have a somewhat unusual pet- even if you wouldn't really consider them exotic like lions or tigers or bears. Was a devil for the longest time to find any vets in the area who were willing to take on ferrets, and back when I was still little, treating ferrets around here was still very much a practice, unfortunately. But yeah, reminiscing on my own precious baby Max, with all three of the current floofs feeling cuddly... Congratulations on Cloud- I'll update his info in just a sec. And I hope everything goes well moving your bun, and he's back with you sooner rather than later<3
