Prompt: they’re celebrating the annual clan celebration of the cacti blooming! it’s a mesaclan tradition, started by an ancient leader manzanitastar. the blooming usually happens in new-leaf, but can sometimes happen in green-leaf. it usually happens in the evening, when the sun goes down and the air gets cooler. the clan celebrates by decorating the camp in cacti flowers and holding a feast, usually consisting mainly of lizards and other reptiles. fumblewhisker loves this celebration, as the camp looks so colourful and bright! the love the tedious picking of the flowers, it requires grace and gentle movement as to not get pricked.

He doesn't really care about the comics but it's fun to extort treats out of his twoleg by threatening to knock his namesake off the high shelf it's displayed on. Apparently it will break into a billion little pieces if he actually knocks it down! Anyway it's his birthday, so he's got a funny little hat and is being given only his favorite treats all day! There's apparently rumblings of putting him in a little costume but he doesn't know that just yet.
