No matter the pattern or feature, each kalon is beautiful and precious.

Name Explanation - You might remember Avatar (2009), the one with the blue, glowing catlike people who live on the vast jungle planet full of bioluminescent life, Pandora. Did you know that the creators of the movie actually hired linguists to make a complete speakable language? In Na'vi, the language of the species that Avatar is about, "Kaltxí" means "friendly greetings". This Kalon's bright colors reminded me of the cool palettes of Avatar and the stripes look straight out of Pandora. I think I'd have her be an adventurer of some sort since she gives me the same adventurous, daring vibe as the movie! Her expression feels friendly, fun, and wise all at once, like you'd hike a mountain and she would be up at the top to share her wisdom along with a good joke. Plus, the "Kal" in Kaltxì makes for a cute pun on the word Kalon!

Name - “Rad” Deg
Name Explanation - On first glance, Deg doesn’t seem like that unusual of a name. However, the name Deg and I go back years. I was playing with a calculator while stumped on some homework when I saw how my scientific calculator abbreviated “Degrees” into Deg and “Radians” into Rad.

Inspiration struck and I thought it was kind of cute to think of some rad little dude named Deg. The name seems aloof yet quirkily confident. It seems like the kind of guy who’d blush when you said their name or worry over making sure everyone’s having a good time but practically glow whenever someone gave them even the smallest compliment. The name’s geeky origins would hint to someone who’s brilliant... but also willing to take a risk. I always think of a chemistry student who lit their hair on fire and for years, that story would be told and re-told, but nobody would be able to tell if it was a careless accident or completely intentional to get out of the lab final.

Plus, nobody would ever realize that it’s an abbreviated version of “Radians Degrees”! Since this dude seems like a rad little Deg, a rad little Deg he shall be!

okay I feel OBLIGATED to pick this one because ever since I read it I've just been thinking about it. I love deg so much??? this reminds me of something I used to do a lot in school. cx i loved all the creativity i saw out there though, holy smokes!! you guys are awesome, i really hope you use those names for characters because i dig ALL of them so much.
