it has started slowly, almost creepingly. ara had no idea what was happening until it was to late. she lived a normal life, everything was perfect! but it all changed on that one, dreadful day...
"UGH!! what is that?!" she spat out, disgust clear in her face "HOW in the WORLD-". she was too taken aback to fully end that sentence. "okay ara, you're fine, just breathe.", carefully, she took another, closer look at her plate. she really did just confuse her hair for spaghetti?? how does that even happen? she sighed at the view in front of her. her poor locks, completely destroyed by the heat of the boiling water and covered in tomato sauce all over. defeated, she got up and tried her best to get rid of the mess.

"there's no way I'll be able to get that fixed without a shower." she admitted to herself, and in the shower she went! after about 5 minutes, a lot of tomato sauce mess and a whole lot of breaking hair she finally managed to get it to look somewhat better. however, as she stepped out of the shower, yet another chill went up her spine: the hair that broke off must have clogged up the shower drain and now... her whole bathroom was completely under water! it took every single ounce of self restraint for her not to scream in all the emotions she was going through! how would she explain that scenario??

on second thought, maybe it was time for a trip to the hair dresser after all... but only to get rid of what's absolutely necessary. or else, where would she sleep? she doesn't have any other bed than her hair!

“This- this is too much hair.” Valentine struggled as he attempted to pull the long, multicoloured strands from beneath the bathroom door. His roommate side-eyed him.
“Ya think?” He said sarcastically.
“Can it, Bandit.” Valentine felt satisfied with the near-rhyming retort. Stuck at home for months without access to a hairdresser, Valentine’s normally well-maintained mane had grown out of control, so long now it displayed colours the Kalon had never seen. Unlike Bandit, who cut his own mane short regardless of how it looked afterward, Valentine cared too much about his locks to cut them on his own. He sighed as the last few hairs were released from the door. “I think you’ll have to cut it for me.”
“Not until you apologize.” Said Bandit. “And make it very convincing.” Valentine glared, but walked over to where the other Kalon sat.
“I’m sorry for telling you to can it, oh wonderful and skilled roommate. Will you please lend your talents to benefit us both and trim my mane?” Bandit smiled smugly.
“For sure.”

"Of course I dont have to much hair" Francis spoke, gently brushing a lock of hair laying over his eyes. Unconvinced the kal looked at him, "Well, if you dont have too much hair why is your whole bathroom filled with", the kal gestures to the array of hair products in the bathroom, "So much shampoo and conditioner?"

Francis spoke with a smile as he began brushing his meter long hair, "I'm always prepared, there is only lots because I dont want to be caught without any!" The kal looked unconvinced tugging Francis back to his room before yanking open his bedroom closet, "Then can you explain why there is boxes of shampoo and conditioner in your closet, I mean, where are your clothes meant to go!?"

Laughing off the comment Francis shrugged, "I have to have back up of course." The kal gave a deep sigh, once again tugging Francis to his guest room, gesturing to the pile of boxes with enough hair products to start a business, "Are you sure you dont have too much hair?"

Francis looked over with a tight smile, his eye swaying back and forth over the boxes, "I had coupons". The kal with one final tug pulled Francis to his living room filled with boxes, "Let me guess" the kal spoke before Francis could interject, "You have to be prepared for a zombie apocalypse." Francis looked at the kal with a suprised, but happy face, "How did you know?"

Holding their hand to their face the kal looked exasperated, "You want to tell me even with ALL of these boxes of hair products, you still want to deny having too much hair!!" Looking over they saw Francis nonchalantly playing with a strand of hair, seeing them looking over Francis said in a dead straight face, "I don't have too much hair.... my pool is still empty."

Moral of the strory, there is never too much hair as long as Francis can find somewhere to put his hair products, he's got the whole world to go.

how much hair is too much, you ask? I believe I know the answer: which is, actually, exactly the amount of hair that I happen to have, right at this moment.
you see, these strands are simply indestructible. I've tried scissors, saws, fire, and even plucking out a measley little strand, and to no avail. it just stays on my body, all shiny and perfect, as if I hadn't even touched it.
I'm just waiting for when my nose hairs eventually catch up and stick five feet off my face.
