"'𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐨𝐝' 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲, 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬."
Emergency sirens were rung this evening as "Robin Hood" Mihiro Hamasaki broke into the Mermadian palace and stole from the royal family's vault.
Hamasaki is an infamous character throughout the country of Mermadia, from the deepest depths of its waters to the highest peaks of its mountains. He's traveled across the entirety of the country, appearing only to distribute wealth amongst the most impoverished of Mermadia, before quickly disappearing into the shadows once again.
This week marks one of our "Robin Hood's" most gallant attempts to steal from the wealthy, with Mermadia's own royal family being his target. Eyewitnesses around the castle claim they saw the man sneak into the Royal Garden by hurdling himself over the gates as the sun dipped below the horizon. Shopkeeper Claudia DeMarco gave us her statement early this morning, saying: "It was crazy! He was dressed all in black, with only the white of his hair showing, and almost as soon as he came into view, he was gone over the gate!"
Guards from the castle also gave us a statement, claiming that Hamasaki "engaged in a fight" with them, before knocking them out and continuing into the castle before word could spread to the King and Queen themselves. From the garden, Hamasaki was said to have snuck silently into the castle through the gardener's quarters, all while the overseer was fast asleep. From there, Hamasaki snuck past a couple of sleeping guards, who have since been let go, and made his way into the vault room, which houses most of the castle's material treasure. The castle's cameras then caught our Robin Hood scooping gold coins and small trinkets into two large sacs before making a dash for the door, treasure in hand.
Following his daring escape from the castle, Hamasaki was said to have quote "rained gold and diamonds down on the streets of the village" before disappearing back into the darkness before he could be found. We don't know any more details at the moment, or whether or not the man is working with anyone else, but as soon as we know, you will too. Check back later to see any updates on our Robin Hood, and to hear a statement from the King and Queen themselves.

THIS JUST IN! Mihiro "Robin Hood" Hamasaki has been taken into custody by the royal guard and also gives us a statement for the country of Mermadia to see!
When we spoke to Hamasaki he told us: "I do what I must to stand up for the people of this country. I myself was betrayed by the royal family, and in return, I distribute the wealth of those who don't need it, and give it to those who do."
Following this statement, Hamasaki also added this piece, much to our surprise: "I am the King's son, whom he conceived with a woman from the village many years ago. I was thrown to the side like a sack of potatoes while the king refused to support my mother and me. This is my way of getting back at my father, and I won't stop even if they do arrest me."
You heard it here folks, Mermadia's Robin Hood is none other than the King's own son! We asked his Royal Highness for a statement on the matter, and this is all he had to say: "That child was a mistake and a disgrace to the Royal name. The Queen and I did what we thought was best for our kingdom."
The King and Queen gave no further explanation on the matter, and have moved forward on charging Hamasaki with grand theft and crimes against the crown. Check back later to hear the charges and punishments that face our Robin Hood.

HAMASAKI HAS ESCAPED! WE REPEAT, HAMASAKI HAS ESCAPED!
Last you heard we gave you the statements made by the King and his "illegitimate son" Mihiro Hamasaki. It has come to our attention that our Robin Hood has escaped the royal guards and is now on the run. We don't have any evidence of his current whereabouts, but according to the man himself, this probably won't be the last we see of Mihiro Hamasaki.
Thank you for tuning into the Royal Post. This was Charles Cillia with your daily report. Check back tomorrow for more news and eyewitness reports on Hamasaki and the Royal family.
