"Breaking news: A florida man was arrested for keeping 17 alligators on his 20 acre property this morning at 8am, we have the story right after the weather.

Today at 8am, a man in central Florida was arrested jn regards to improper permit rights and enclosures for his 17 alligators. This took place on his 20 acre property, in a small suburb off the central city. He has given us the time for a short interview before his hearing that we'll show now.

"What do you think about the allegations against you?"

"I think there's a reason for 'em, but I think they're pretty dumb reasons. My 'gators weren't hurtin' nobody! I had a fence an' everythin' to keep 'em on my property. They said they could climb 'em, but I ain't never seen it happen in my days."

"Why alligators? Why 17 of them? Is there any significance here?"

"I did always love 'gators. My daddy kept 'em, my granddaddy kept 'em, I guess you could say I done got raised into the family business. They don't hurt nobody, they lay in the sun an' chow down on raw meat like no tomorrah, but they ain't never hurt nobody. My gal, Lady, I can stick my hand in 'er mouth an' she ain't gonna snap me. These are the most tame 'gators southa Louisiana Alligator Farm."

True Love Found on Sea, or a Tall Tale?

Our favorite sailor storyteller has done it once again – only this time, is his story too much?

As we all know our favorite storyteller, who only goes by Cardona, goes out on his old rickety boat for weeks at a time and comes back with plenty of fish for those who cannot afford it. Giving to those in need seems to be his motive, but at Port News, we know the real story.

Cardona may give some of his catches to those who cannot afford it, but the rest he sells at the highest price he can! He’s told us , “it’s for upgrades to my boat” and “I do this for a living”, but are you really going to believe that?

Not only does Cardona come back with fish to sell, but also stories! He’s gotten pictures of giant whales and swimming dolphins, but this story is unlike anything we’ve heard before.

Now, finding a mermaid may sound believable – especially if he’d come back with a picture or some sort of proof. But, falling in love with a mermaid? Well, that’s preposterous! We didn’t believe him at first – we even thought of alerting the doctors to get him some help. But wouldn’t you believe it, Cardona gave us some evidence!

He’s made some maps – and we at Port News know that sounds fishy (no pun intended), but Cardona has shown us something that’s changed our minds. A brown comb, larger than a kit and shining like the ocean waves, was shown to us. He says that his lover gave it to him as a courting gift.

Now, it didn’t take long for us to believe Cardona! He didn’t agree with showing us her, but we’ve persuaded him. He’ll be riding with us on the Water Bird – one of Carbonell’s largest ships! Of course, per his delusions from earlier, Cardona will be riding in the locked cabin – just so he doesn’t harm any of the crew.

We at Port News will be riding with the crew, to show you the first sightings of a mermaid! These storms will be difficult to travel through, but we’re determined to tell you everything the is to tell. We’re set to sail tomorrow at dawn! Come see us set off and say goodbye, we hope to see you soon!

Man saves THOUSANDS of endangered frogs from construction site!

"Well, I really wasn't certain what they were"
at first. I took them home to use them in my
artwork if I'm being honest... So it came as a
surprise to me when I started to see tails sprout
out of the little golden dots. Some of them even
started moving!" Kaito stated, continuing on
with, "I called a friend of my who works in the
local forest. She knows everything about the
wildlife in and around these parts. She came
over, took one look at my little moving gold
dot things and told me they were Panamanian
golden frog spawn! Who would of known. They're
pretty endangered apparently ... so now I'm
taking care of them. My ranger friend is going
to help too, but I'm determined to hatch all these
lil' guys now I guess."
Kaito has since kept us updated on the status
of his endangered frog spawn and has successfully
hatched 3,457 of them into Panamanian golden
frogs!. Kaito has said he'll be releasing the frogs
once they are ready back into the wild in a much
more safe area than they were found, the local
nature reserve! So keep your eyes out in the next
few weeks for this golden little guys as thousounds
of them will be being released!

Eärendil Kaito (32) was on his daily walk to work when
he spotted a new construction site setting up on an old
forested area. The 32-year old said he stopped to take a
look at what was going on, when he saw a large dirty
puddle filled with golden coloured tiny balls of jelly,
as he described it. Kaito then went in to ask one of
the contractors if he could take a look in at the puddle
and see what was inside. The construction worked let
Kaito in, stating that he "Wasn't sure on what the gold
things were in the puddle. We were gonna' cement over
it anyways, so we let the guy take a look." Upon further
inspection by Kaito, he decided that the odd-coloured
jelly things would be coming home with him. Kaito
supposedly asked the site workers not to touch the
puddle until he had came back to collect what was in
it, and thankfully, the site workers agreed! Kaito
said that he returned to the site later that afternoon
with three large water cooler bottles and was able
to fit every last golden jelly ball in. And what
happened once Kaito took them home, was a whole
other surprise!
