Creatures cringe under that stare. Some do cower. Others hold their footing even if they can't look at her face. Some cry, some whisper, some say nothing at all. They are asking regardless, even if there are no words.
She is supposed to give. That's what the legends say, at least- it's why everyone comes here. Always asking. Always taking.
Nobody ever gives back what has gone.
Their words are meaningless, empty, attempts to placate before they beg.
They worked, once upon a time, though how long ago they're never really sure anymore.

An ask.
Help, they say. They want to help.
Ada lifts a paw and the red is more threatening than it is inviting as she places it on her own chest.
The orange one goes out to the stranger and there is silence for a moment as they stare at each other.
An answer.
The stranger slumps and moves back, but they still look determined as they nod.
They'll be back tomorrow, as always.
Ada returns to her throne to wait.

howdy, everyone!! i've finally gotten the time to sit down and listen through all of these entries, and as i was hoping, y'all really outdid yourselves with these bad boys :'3c
i had a lot of trouble picking a winner because all of your playlists were so good (rip), but after much deliberation, one entry stood out to me: nio! there was something so tender about your playlist that just felt right, i have a hard time describing it tbh but i found myself coming back to this one. i hope you enjoy hebi!!
