consuming the souls of any kalon that may enter her
vicinity
----- a priest performs a ritual which brings back her
lover and frees her from this eternal bondage,
ending her hunt.

-res w/ this idea: they came to the lake everyday to visit the kalon in the water. no one else saw her, akiko, but skylar believed. akiko was their friend, the only friend they ever trusted. but then, akiko disappeared, and the town was happy that their prized child, skylar, had stopped seeing their imaginary friend. and soon, skylar believed that akiko had never been there as well. skylar grows up. they forget all about the imaginary akiko.
- later, skylar has a dream, they are a little kalon again, and are looking down at the lake, smiling and talking to themselves. skylar’s vision shifts to looking out from the lake, and they say “ok skylar! see you tomorrow- same place same time, right?” young skylar nods happily, “yep! see ya, akiko~!” and then skylar wakes up, remembering all about their friend.
- skylar leaves, believing that akiko is real once again. they set off on a journey to find their only friend. but will they?
