Despite his scary exterior, Illuminate is actually quite the soft-heart. While he shares the same instinctive fear of humans as the rest of his species, he feels compelled to help those in need. Most of his days are spent wandering the streets, listening for the sound of any frightened soul. The scared voice of a child is sure to draw his attention, and it's not unusual for him to slip through the shadows into a bedroom late at night so he can curl up in the corner of the room, playing the part of a night light to help chase away any hidden spooks.

Hello! I really love this cat, so I am going to enter.

This very shadow cat uses their bioluminescence to warn predators off, and show other animals who's boss. It also uses it when in dark spaces, to help themselves and others. It can only use it for a limited amount of time, so it must use it's power wisely.

this playful shadowcat uses it to spook humans/other shadowcats who pass by at night, especially near halloween, while he is scared of them, he just cant resist the temptation sometimes
