Inspiration ---

Pinkie is usually a hyper pink ball of fluff and feathers, but for this design I wanted a different take! I took a ton of inspiration from the Pie part of her name (plus combined with a past pie lambie design I made almost a year ago). I wanted her to be more pie than anything else, while using some of her color palette, as well as gator patterns from Gummy. The apples and a hint toward to her possible family connection to the apple family.

I like to think that this pinkie is still lots of fun, but not quite as energetic. She is super sweet and loves to make everyponies day just a little better! She kinda embodies a bit of all the elements, loyalty to her friends, generosity to everyone, magic to make her pies, etc. It all comes together like a perfect pie, making Pinkie the best friedn you could ever have!

Favorite MLP character (non-mane 6) and why:
I adore Sunset Shimmer and Tempest Shadow (cause of their char arcs). I also have always had a soft spot for Thorax, Pharynx, Trixie, Derpy/Muffins, Luna, Celestia, Gummy, and Autumn Blaze (among others).

My favorite background char and pony has been Vapor Trails for the longest time.

If I can remember my younger self correctly, since it’s been a while since I watched the episode, Vapor Trails’ character arc and episode resonated with me a lot. I was dealing with some of the same things she was and the show itself helped me overcome it a bit.

Favorite MLP character (non-mane 6) and why: Sunset Shimmer. Honestly, for a good while? I wasn't too fussed about her, Sunset was cool in Rainbow Rocks and that was about it for me. I suppose my interest was really grabbed via EQG The Friendship Games and she only got cooler from there. More recently I went back and had a little EQG marathon and Sunset was quick to become my favourite character because she's whip-smart, gorgeous and a pretty incredible character all around!
