Invited to join a special event, you roll down the your vehicles window to hold out a ticket to a teenage boy at a check-in booth, a closed gate behind him that would lead onto the property owned by the Range Trotter Association. The letter had been vague, but promised some food, fun and horses that would both be available to take home and some new stallions with some interesting coats for stud.

Not wanting to pass up the opportunity, you eagerly hitched your trailer up and headed for the address listed on the invitation.

Welcome to the spring safari event!
So, what can you expect to see?

New African animal inspired markings will be released for the community during this event, with chances to adopt
and win slots to a few very handsome stallions that can be used in breedings after the event has concluded.

A wheel of chance to win some prizes, which will be open every other day.

Two users will receive a chance to win a full custom including an event marking. (Limited markings are not included, however!)

Please familiarize yourself with the rules below, however!

• Anyone is able to enter, community member or staff.
• Staff are not required to make adopts, no harassing them if they enter.
• The event will last for the month of April; all adopts will be judged within the first week of May at the latest.
• There is no limit to how many you may win at this time!


Artists!
Please do not make complicated, in-depth competitions or FCFS types.
Raffles, personalities, etc are acceptble competitions for the event.
Please keep judging dates to a maximum of one week for entrants!
Judging may be done afterward, but forms should not be accepted after a max of seven days per adopt.
Be aware that another staff member may step in to judge at the end of the grace period to close the event out if not done. ♥

Each day, users can enter for a raffle ticket.
This day is counted when CS hits rollover, not 24 hours after a post.
You can post at 23:55pm CS time, and then again at 00:00am CS time.
On the 25th of April, two customs will be raffled off to users who entered.
That gives you 22 days to collect tickets and increase your chance of winning!
Tickets cannot be claimed on the 25th, as the raffle will close April 25th Central Standard Time!

• One event marking can be requested. It will be Homozygous, if applicable.
• No edits can be made to these customs.
• Limited markings cannot be requested, but all others are a go! ♥

Every other day, the prize wheel will be open for users to get a spin at prizes, listed below.
A notice will be posted when the wheel closes, and when it opens! Please do not spin if it is closed.

Prize List:
• Breeding Items (Red Silk Ribbon, Blue Silk Ribbon, Fly Mask)
• Body Items (Dye Kit, Toothed Comb, Trimming Scissors)
• Special Items (Twin Booster, Chimeric Booster)
• Wild Horse Lasso (win a random event marking horse)
• Breeding Slots (six total, each with a different marking)

• Each stallion has 8 slots available, individuals may only win one per stallion.
• All staff members receive three bonus slots for being with us, on top of being able to win more.
• Staff bonus slots can be redeemed for any stallion, or asked to be randomized.
• Slots may be redeemed at any time, but breedings cannot be placed with these stallions until the event has ended!
• Users may only win one Special item throughout the event, but Breeding and Body items are unlimited.
• Users may only win one Wild Horse Lasso throughout the event.
• Wild Horse Lassos award a random horse with one event marking, and up to two non-adopt related markings; all horses will have a loose mane + tail and come with feathers.
