Rule breaking will result in ban from the community. You may either transfer your design onto another species, keep it as it is, but it will be taken off our archive and not counted as an official kuonling until traded/transferred to a member that can participate in the community (keeping it in “limbo”. You may not participate in events or adopt new kuonlings). Or, you may return it. However, you must let me know what you plan to do with them ASAP so that I can sort them out.
This is a closed species and fakes, knock-offs, or unauthorized adopts claiming to be kuonlings are not permitted. In addition, off oekaki myo's, customs, and kuoni will not be available due to the species creators preference.
You may NOT sell your kuonling. For USD, site currency, or otherwise. Trades or gifts only!
Users must wait at least 14 days before trading or gifting their kuonling.
No limit on adopts per person, as long as they are not used for hoarding material.
Kuonlings may be used as fursonas/main characters!
Unless you are staff, the only current way to get semi-customs, customs, and MYO's are through events or purchase. Trades will be opening soon!
The mascot may be used by non-owners for certain events. Fanart of it is ALWAYS welcome, but please note that I may upload those pieces to it's toyhou.se (with proper credit of course).

Average Height
Kuonlings very vastly in size, simply because they're born from imagination. They can be as small as 10 inches tall in height, or as large as 20 feet in height.
Average Lifespan
So long as a Kuonling's scroll is intact, kuonlings will live on for a very long time. Sometimes, when they feel fulfilled, they will go to the mage's house to burn their scrolls and "pass on" to the next life.
Litter Size/Breeding Info
Kuonlings mate through a special ritual of ink and paint. A paired couple will travel back to the old mage's house, where a new tenant resides, and goes through such a ritural to have offspring. Because they don't follow our same construct of time, offspring are created as adults.
Kuonlings may have up to 2 offspring at a time before the magic runs out, then they must wait a time period before they may mate again.

Scales
Every kuonling has at least a small plate of scales on its body. It's used mainly for protection, but also can be seen as a trait in which kuonlings show off to potential partners.
Scroll
The most important feature of a kuonling is its scroll. To create one, a child draws their friend onto paper (or in some areas, cloth, bark, leather, etc.) and if they believe strong enough, their Kuonling will come to life. These drawings don't degrade naturally, but if a scroll is burned or torn up into many little pieces, the kuonling will no longer exist.
Enlarged Teeth
Most kuonlings (with exceptions) have a set of enlarged teeth. While these creatures don't exactly need to eat to live, they usually enjoy meat. And so, those large teeth were made for tearing.
Phasing
While most kuonlings do not have the capability to be invisible, they are all able to phase through objects since they're partly a creation of the imagination. This is especially helpful with huge dogs, otherwise, they'd blow through the roof of a building.
