Firstly, he loves the greenery and flowers because they smell good and look nice. Secondly, Darkpelt likes the weather not too cold and not too warm because since he has a short pelt, when it's too cold he shivers and gets awfully sniffy and sleepy due to winter alergies. And lastly, he loves the abundance of prey that runs during spring.
