Absalom graduated from HU with degrees in physics and game design. His goal is to create things that brought people joy, comfort, and helped them grow emotionally and intellectually. As a diabetic who battled painful ulcers on his hind feet (which gave him mobility issues) throughout childhood and his teen years, he knows the freedom that comes from getting to escape into a virtual world and wants to share it with those who need it most. He works developing games and is a popular Youtuber. One of his favorite games is Minecraft, but he loves anything sandbox or sci-fi. He jokes about hating Baldi’s Basics, but genuinely finds it funny.


He loves seeing helpful folks such as his doctor Aspen, who helps him manage his blood sugar and feet and recommended some brands of snacks that he could enjoy without putting himself at risk. He almost lost part of his hind paws from unmanaged diabetes but Aspen’s help allowed him to keep them. His paws have healed a lot more since then and, so long as he managed his sugar levels and pays attention to his insulin apps and pump, he doesn’t have too many issues and lives a happy, adventurous life.

Despite his intimidating looks, he’s rather social and will talk about anything. He especially likes seeing the excitement in someone’s eyes when they talk about something that brings them to life. He had joined the Mathletes and Cinema Club in university. Now he works as the head of a game company. He gets to travel to all sorts of conventions and speak at the company’s releases. He has a good balance and doesn’t spend too much time gaming, even though it his job and hobby. He is a bit of a thrill junkie and has done plenty of exciting things like skydiving, traveling, and paintball. He now has a lot of money, and made himself a giant clubhouse (he always wanted one as a kid but wasn’t healthy enough to climb the ladder), which is where he does all his programming and hangs out! It’s sort of his man-cave and is a symbol of how much he celebrates his adult life and living each day with happiness and meaningful. It has a ladder and a slide, plus charging ports for his computer! He shoots all his YouTube videos from there and hangs out with his buddies in it while watching movies and chatting over new ideas.
