The Ranchu goldfish is quite popular in Japan often referred to as the king of goldfish, with a bubble-like growth on their heads and no dorsal fin this certainly is a unique goldfish.
Ranchu goldfish usually get to about 8in long and need 20 gallons for a single Ranchu!

I've heard that some of you also have pet goldfish! So everyone that shows a picture of their goldfish, or any pet fish that they own you will get a Free Fish Sticks Ticket at the end of this comp! (Your own pictures only!)

I won't enter since I no longer have fish, but I wanted to share them.

Me and my family use to have fish that look like these

as well as a few bottom feeders and some small snails. They all passed because of the aquarium decorations were of poor quality and poised the water. : ( We didn't know at the time that there were such things as poor quality decorations. We moved shortly after and didn't have enough room for fish so we didn't get more.

Other: Sadly our goldfish hasn't been alive for years, but he lived a happy life, and long, all things considered. His name was Dogfood, he was actually won from the fair so we hadn't thought he would last that long. He ended up living for 5 years, which while still terribly short, is 5 years longer then he would have lasted back at the fair. I wish I, or my family, had been smart enough to know about proper goldfish care, no animal deserves to suffer.
