Deep in the unknown hills of the south, there lay a mare, sick from the disease that had spread over time, among the hills. A little girl found the mare one day, realizing she was sick. In alarm, she ran home, to her mother, who called a vet to save the mare's life. Later that day, the mare showed affection towards the little girl, and other horses had begun to walk back into the hills, coming out of hiding. From that day on, the Fresians of the South Hills were forever allied with the human race.

They're not very complex, but something about dun and buckskin horses is just so beautiful!
