write a christmas (or any other winter holiday) themed story! i guess it doesn't even need to be about a holiday as long as it fits the general vibe of the season. anything goes! it can be stars-related or not stars related! it can spooky or heart-warming! write and draw to your heart's content! you can add illustrations, make a playlist to listen to with the story, pretty your form up! whatever! just have fun (and keep everything cs appropriate) !!

she trudges through the snow, pushing harder with every step. but nothing is enough. every step is backwards, never forwards. it is useless. the blizzard is too hard against her pelt, she is too blind to see her way. everything seems against her, our heroine of this story. what will she do next? how will she overcome this endeavor? this pressing cold?
maybe we shall never know..
a blinding light wakes the cat of our story from her eerie trance. her ears lift, and she gains the energy that was so direly needed. what is this light, you may ask? it was the star’s blessing, their gift to our heroine. she takes a step - and then another, finally making it to safety.
it is a cave, dark as it is, the cat sees none, blinded still by the light and snow. maybe this is for better, for another cat approaches her.
the cat is blinding, glowing from the inside. our heroine cannot see; but the cat who approached was as bright as the sun itself. the cat is the very embodiment of silverpelt, come to help our star in her time of dire need.
“are you cold, little one?” says the cat as bright as sun, “are you cold?”
“I-” she says, turning her head, trying to find where the stranger cat is. she has no luck. “yes.”
“little one, I have come to help you. follow me, and you shall be warm. you shall see your family again.” silverpelt mews to our cat. she gasps. her family?
“my, my family?” our heroine replies, struggling to get up.
“sit little one. and sleep. tomorrow you shall see me again, you shall be warm.” the cat as bright as the sun faded away, leaving her. she slept, and when she woke up, she saw silverpelt again.
but somewhere else, somewhere very very far away.

Prompt: (293 words) The she-cat padded around the marshy camp, overlooking the activities. She narrowed her eyes at the kits running with holly and strings of grass made by the queens. For some odd reason, whenever Leaf Bare rolled around, the cats of LagoonClan got all excited. Gingerpelt thought it was stupid. Usually Leaf Bare signified the loss of prey and much, much colder weather. This had all happened after the kittypet incident. A hunter had traveled too far outside the territory to find prey and had stumbled across a little cluster of small Twoleg dens. They had met a kittypet, learned of this Christmas, and had decided to share the stupid holiday with their much more superior clan. Gingerpelt had completely ignored the retched idea and thought it a waste of time. Seastar, however, announced that LagoonClan would carry this tradition with them until the end of her days, which was a ways away, Gingerpelt assumed. The multitude of events that were used to celebrate Christmas was the kits flopping around on the ice, the gatherers picking holly, the queens expertly weaving grass strings, and the Honoreds telling absurd stories. Gingerpelt had asked Seastar about the reason for this holiday, and she had simply replied that it gave the clan something to believe in and it boosted morals. The she-cat couldn't see it. It was a waste of time. She was suddenly knocked out of her memories by a small kit stumbling into her paw. She nudged it off and it turned around, dropped a holly berry on her paw, and ran to join its friends. For some odd reason, this made Gingerpelt smile. A tiny glimmer of warmth appeared in her chest. Perhaps this holiday wasn't a waste of time. Not entirely, at least.
