Route One of the Hawthorn Hooves Stable Event
Just as the trees seem like they can get no thicker and the woods themselves seem to be as black as night around you, when the hours have passed and things look dim, the group comes across a clearing. Inside, watching the group of rescuers emerge from the woods, are several horses.
The search and rescue group is absolutely thrilled, but then the questions arise - what happens to them now?
This is a Route One horse! Remember you must first enter in the Route One prompt before you enter for any horses listed as route one. You may only win two horses per route, excluding the horses listed as "Special," of which you may only win one total.
Competition: What does the word “frail” have to do with this horse? Be creative! Art and writing is allowed, there are no minimum qualifications for either.

Show Name: Champagne’s a Buck
Barn Name: Champ
Gender: stallion
Age: 5
Height: 14.5
Halter: artists choice
Discipline: Still in training to find where he fits best!
Competition:
Champ hated the word “frail”. He in fact despised it with his all. It’s the very word his dam used to use. An excuse he learned all to well from her. “No he cannot buck around, he’s to frail” is a popular one she’d say. Or “Get away from him he’s a frail child!” That was always followed by her chasing anything and everything from him. He grew so tired of it that even when the humans mentioned it he would start bucking and screeching. Just because he was a shorter stallion did not mean he was frail! Sure he may not have long legs to run far or the lung capacity to run fast. BUT that does not mean he was frail!

Competition: Frail. That was the name of his mother. It wasn't a mean name or one that was meant to bully her, it was actually a compassionate name, that every horse and human around the yard would call her. She was born frail you see, many thinking she would not make it, but she did. Her nickname became 'frail' in her times of darkness and afterwards it stuck, marking her accomplishments in overcoming her frailties. So his mother is called frail. And frail does not mean weak to Oskar, but instead means something far far more strong.
