Clan of the Rising Fox
The cat, barely even knowing what to do with the herbs, went and stashed them someplace. He stopped, hearing birdsong. Why did that always calm him? Who knows. Foxstar went forwards, a beetle scurried right through the path in front of him, Foxstar was a bit surprised. He walked faster, having a need to check something. The cat had tried to stay away from that side of the territory that he had claimed, but..

He thought it was time to see the twolegs again, even if the ones he used to live with weren’t there.

The cat approached the houses, taking an intake of breath. Then a release. He took a step into the place, and then walked all the way in.

Peak Clan
This is my first time so forgive me if I do it wrong.

The smell of dusk lied heavily under his nose. Mist falled slowly, and covered the hillside providing perfect cover for both predator and prey. The sky was lit with light reds, and covered thick with fluffy clouds. The light was dim, and the shrubbery was high. Tension was in the air, and all creatures were stiff with either fear or hunger. It was hunting hours for the most vicious of predators on the mountainside, this included the cat's of Peak Clan. Low in the deep bushes of the mountain's side leaning against the soft dirt and surrounded by the hums of crickets, and beetles.

An older cat, thin, long furred, golden, and covered in scars, laying low in the grass. A glow similar to the sun reflected in the grass. Strong haunches slowly, and carefully dragging through the dirt, and an intent to kill filling the air. SunStar would do anything for his clan, and hunting was a smaller task that fulfilled this. The air was getting tighter. He would have to stay still for a few more moments, listen to the earth, and keep an eye out for his own safety. Hopefully He'll bring enough fresh kill back to the clan.

Arnicastar yawned and stretched as they exited their still temporary den. Standing right in the entrance was their new medicine cat, Minkwish.
"Goooooodmorning, Arnie!" She meowed, happiness shining in her eyes. "Can we go hunting? You can catch some food and I'll catch, heh, us some herbs. 'Cause I got none. Gotta stock up before we get more clan members!"

Arnicastar was thrown off by how excitable the young she-cat was so early in the morning. They nodded, "Yes, we need to continue preparations. And don't call me Arnie." Their tail flicked in annoyance.

They had met the medicine cat days earlier, near Star Point. She had been applying a poultice to a scratch on her side. Arnicastar had gasped, scaring the young she-cat. They hadn't expected to find a medicine cat so soon, and so easily. A deputy was the next cat they had been looking for, but they had found something better, for the moment. They had hoped to get a good relationship going with Minkwish, to strengthen both of their bonds to StarClan. Having a medicine cat by there side is just what they needed to help build their clan from the ground up.

Pushing past Minkwish, Arnicastar took a deep inhale of the air, scenting for prey. They could smell something coming from the direction of the treeless hills behind camp. Bushes dotted the green stretch of land. There must be some herbs or something useful Minkwish could find in there.

The two set off, Minkwish with a bounce in her step.

valleyclan

Daybreak tread softly on the damp grass, followed by Ripplestep and Peachblossom. Pale gray clouds created an overcast sky that loomed over the group, though they knew that there was no danger of rain. All mornings were usually like this, and they knew that the sun would break through in a matter of hours. The early hours of the day brought nice weather with an occasional calm, cool breeze. It would warm up as the day progressed, though the weather was never overly hot. It was the winters that proved to be the most extreme. Daybreak had decided to get an early start to the day, organizing a small patrol of just her and a couple other clanmembers. While Valleyclan was well-stocked on herbs, their prey supply was quickly depleting and they needed to hunt. With their recent struggles of finding prey, the cats were determined to catch something this time.

The three continued to travel deeper into the forest, careful not to make a sound. Along with hunting, Daybreak created the patrol with the intent on checking the territory. Although still not fully acquainted with their bordering clans, she didn't seem too concerned about them crossing over to Valleyclan territory. What she was worried about were rogues. Thankfully, the young clan had been fortunate enough to not run into any so far.

Giving a quick glance over her shoulder, Daybreak checked on her companions. Ripplestep seemed alert, his perked ears carefully checking for signs of prey. More focused on hunting than talking, he wasn't saying much. Peachblossom, who was usually such a lively molly, was oddly quiet. It was clear that she wasn't fond of mornings, her eyes were heavy and she was struggling to not drag her paws. Still, she was one of the only cats awake and she seemed more than willing to go on patrol initially. She could only hope that Peachblossom would become more aware of her surroundings as the day progressed. So far, the molly's fatigue hadn't gotten in the way of hunting. Yet.

Foxstar looked around at the old place that used to be his home. The warmth now gone but he still felt hot? Maybe it was caused by the memories welling up inside him. He tried to push them down but they came like a flood ready to wash him away. Foxstar's attention was captured by a creeking sound coming from the place his twolegs used to sleep. Cautiously he crept forward, fur prickling with each step. A shrew darted out in front of him and foxstar swiped it up +1shrew, +2FP, +2XP trying to pretend it didnt scare him out of his fur.
Foxstar continued to go down memory lane as he walked through the house. While walking around he jumped up on a counter which his twolegs hated. While up high hw was able to spot things he couldnt before which actually led him to discover a patch of ragwort leaves growing just outside the window. He quickly walked out and nabbed a leaf. +1ragwort leaves, +1XP Leaf and shrew in paw he stood starring at his old home. Should he go back in or had he had enough reminiscing?

While sunstar prayed to starclan for the best luck they could give to him he managed to spot a mouse den throuvh the thick fog. He casually padded forward, not thinking any prey would be dumb enough to be out in the open. Though he proved to be wrong in that aspect, as he approached he could hear the soft squeking. He turned his ears to face the noise before any of the rest of his body could. The scurrying stopped and they both waited in silence for many heart beats. Then as if it was spooked by the mist the mouse darted forward. Sunstar saw the movement from the corner of his eye and swiped one paw forward. He missed by managed to catch a glimpse of the small creature first. He flailed his paws to and fro and finally maneged to snag the small beast +1mouse, +1FP, +1XP he carried the mouse in his jaws while surveying his surroundings.
Sunstar sighed he would never be able to find herbs in this type of wheather!

Foxstar left. He eat the shrew- the leader didn’t want to have to carry it all the way back. He padded out, more like ran anyway. He ran until the scent of his territory filled the air. Home sweet—
What was that? He was just on the edge of the territory, but looking to it, there was another cat. Foxstar approached the other cat and it turned around, eyes widened in fear.
Foxstar softened, and mewed, “you’re trespassing, you know? Get out and I’ll leave you.” There was a growl to his voice, and the other cat glanced around nervously, as if something was surrounding it.
“P-please. I have no where to go, c-could I stay with you, for a little while?” The other cat said, she looked at him pleadingly, “I can be of use- I know herbs. I- i was the healer in my old tribe- please.”
Foxstar thought it over.. healer, hmm? He nodded curtly, “fine. What’s your name, then?” The leader added, gesturing to the direction of camp. She followed.
“Robin’s Cry.” She answered, seemingly deep in thought, “yours? And where are we going?”
Foxstar let out a breath of air and replied, “I’m Foxstar, and we’re heading to the camp of FoxClan.”

Shoreclan

Tempestslash was still racing with adrenaline, and she looked at the others with pride. However, she was met with expressions of shock and worry. Her pleasure slowly dissipated, and a scowl appeared on her face again. What is wrong with these cats? she thought to herself and hefted the eagle up onto her back. Inwardly, she hoped her sister would take them back to camp to deposit the prey.

The four of them decided to momentarily split up. Embersnow and Blueberrynose set off together, then coming back with a squirrel. Although they were successful, Stormswirl and Tempestslash found nothing.

"Alright, let's head back to camp. Tempestslash, do you need some help carrying that thing?" Stormswirl offered, but before her sister could say a word the deputy was already at her side. The weight of the eagle on her back lessened, but the anger she felt was still heavy within her. Tempestslash huffed but said nothing and they continued to walk.

The patrol returned to the camp to deposit the prey in the fresh-kill pile, and they lounged in the sun for a few moments. Embersnow and Blueberrynose groomed each other, chatting nonchalantly.

Refreshed and ready to go out again, the patrol headed out of their sandy camp to go back into the forest.

"cinnamonstick, wake up, nightstar told us to go on patrol tonight!" minnowstrike nudged the other warrior awake impatiently. cinnamonstick groaned, stretching slowly in her nest, before standing up with a large yawn. minnowstrike snorted, shaking her head. "did you forget?"
"maaybe... it's fine though, let's go!!" cinnamonstick, much more awake now, pushed past minnowstrike out of the warriors den and into the main chamber of the camp. shadowstep was nowhere to be seen, as usual, and nightstar could be heard conversing with salem deeper into the cave system, probably in the healer's den. berrysnap was probably with them, she rarely left nightstar's side. "where are we planning on going today? you took me out to the lake, yesterday, which was fun! but catching fish was surprisingly hard- you made it look so easy."
minnowstrike smiled, and led cinnamonstick out of the cave, into the forest. the moon was just peeking over the edges of the mountains, and the stars twinkled brightly above them. "i was thinking i could bring you out to the sun rocks today. obviously, theyre best experienced during the day, but they still hold some of that warmth even when the sun is gone."
"oh, i think i saw those, they're on the far side of the river, right?" cinnamonstick asked, and minnowstrike nodded in response. the two made their way through the forest in silence for a bit, cinnamonstick trailing closely behind minnowstrike, sometimes having to scramble to keep up with the sleek, speedy little warrior. a group of wolves howled in the distance, and minnowstrike shivered, even though it was a relatively warm night.
