Although all other oobicorns are in a large group together this oobicorn does not need to be a part of it by any means, that is your decision. He sighed lightly, eyes looking over his latest project. The stitches hidden perfectly on the new puppet in front of him. His hobby was simple, whenever he had a chance, Antie would work on a new hand puppet. He loves to put on shows for the lambabies in the towns he visited. Antie never stayed anywhere long so when he did stop he wanted to make the most out of them, that's what lead to him making his own puppets. He had around ten hand-made friends in total and he planned to make many more while he searches for a permanent home. He'd always wanted a place where he could be safe and not judged for his hand. Though making others happy took precedence. The main reason he became a puppeteer was to hide his hand, though seeing the looks of joy on the little one's faces made the whole ordeal a lovely experience. Antie wanted to find a place where people would understand him and where he could still bring that light to people.

"Hobby? Yah wanna know my hobby?"

Legs scoffs, rolling his eyes (all of his eyes... the puppets and the ones on his tail, too? What?!) and sitting back on his haunches. "Can ya b'lieve that Sergeant? As if it weren't clear?!"

"Indubitably!" the puppet squeaks, nodding its head so hard, the hat nearly slips off, only to be pushed back up by a stumpy arm.

Legs nods, giving the puppet a long, deliberate stare. You begin to move to the side, thinking maybe his mind's wandered from the question enough that you can slip away-

"Ay, hey, hey, nah! Y'don't get to run off, not when I'm answerin' the question!" the lambie snaps. "You don't go'n ask someone somethin' so personal just t'run like that, that's rude! Didn't no one teach you manners?" He huffs, shaking his head. "Lookin at me, you'd think puppets'n all, yeah?"

You nod.

"Nope."

What.

He grins, whispering a brief conversation with the puppet on his hand for a moment. "Sarge here's just my buddy, I don't control him, n'he don't owe me nothin- he just helps keep the time, and I keep him off'a the ground."

You think he's pulling your leg- but he slips the 'puppet' off, and sets it carefully on the chair by his side, where it... remains standing. And begins to wave its arm- and pass the trumpet it was holding to Legs? Who hooks it over his hoof, while his hand works the keys... what?

"One-two, one-two, one-two- go!" the puppet squeaks. While Legs' back hoof taps in time, the lambie blows a few test notes and proceeds to launch into a rather fantastically noir, moody jazz solo, the kind of sound that would be perfect for certain... other lambies... he's known to keep company with.

"Puppets are nice'n all," Legs says, once he finally gives the music a break. "Always wanted t'do more with 'em, but just can't quite find the time, y'know? Someone's gotta keep the music goin'!"

Is it a hobby, or is it just his way of life? He glances to the puppet on his hand and watches as it speaks out a response through his own mouth. No, it's definitely just his method of living. He's always been the Puppeteer, and cannot remember any time before that. It all started with covering his hands when he was in public with socks so people wouldn't give him funny looks or stare at him-- then having to explain it-- which led to making the socks into sock puppets-- and it evolved from there into a recognition that he had a dexterity that other lambicorns didn't that he could use to his advantage when it came to commanding and making puppets! After all, not many lambicorns have a full five fingers to move a marionette, or to hold a paint brush for fine details! That's how his fascination began, at least, and he can't for the life of him remember a time when he wasn't obsessed with puppets, making them out of everything and anything he could get his hands on.

Puppets are everything to him-- he loves to design and fashion his own, as well as developing intricate personas and histories for each and every one of them. His puppets are the only things he ever shows his kinder, more gentle side to, and he treats them with the utmost respect and caution, as if they were made of gold. They're works of art, after all! His works of art. And his method of self expression. Some may find his home, absolutely packed with puppets of all shapes and sizes, to be uncanny because of all the marionette strings, all the lifeless glass and plastic eyes-- but if you ask Puppeteer he'll tell you there's no better home under the sky.

It's the home of a family, after all! A family of puppets. Puppeteer spends hours a day toiling over his latest creation, his newest addition to the puppet family-- and just as much time practicing routines with his puppets. He loves to give puppet shows to whoever has the time to stand and watch, and is a real hit with the lambabies! His stories are always very lively and imaginative, involving grand adventure, magic and heroic feats. He keeps the more personal stories for himself, performing them in private at his own stage.

The puppets are... well, many things to Puppeteer. They are his artwork, his method of self-expression, and his dearest companions. Having always struggled to make bonds with those around him, Puppeteer finds comfort in his puppet companions, and he takes a lot of pride and joy in his ability to make them, which is always becoming a more refined talent. In a way, his puppets and puppeteering are more than just a favorite hobby to Puppeteer-- they are his everything, the meaning he sees in life and his greatest achievement. He loves his puppets more than life itself and loves pouring his time into developing their characters and epic stories. Some lambs find it creepy-- but Puppeteer just sees their unfavorable aspects as fun quirks and interesting charms.

The puppet you see on his hand there, the purple frog-looking fellow-- that's The Conductor, and is currently the Puppeteer's favorite puppet and his constant companion. He does all sorts of comedy bits with The Conductor where the two banter-- did I mention he's also a skilled ventriloquist? He considers it a part of his puppeteering job, so he never thinks to mention it himself. The Conductor isn't attached to The Puppeteer, but if you didn't know better, you might think as much just based on how attached the two seem. Another constant appearance in his shows is Stripey the Sock-- admittedly an old-fashioned puppet long since out of style, but it was the first one Puppeteer ever made! So he has a soft spot for Stripey, who gets to stay despite being more or less the most rudimentary of sock puppets.
