Describe you showing off your outfit:
He steps toward the darker furred sister, unsure if she would prefer if he kneeled down, he would not complain if she asked.

"Greetings Meeni, we are The Corrupt Celestial Sleeper and we are dressed as a Tufted Duck" he announces, he has to look down at her due to his height and both elders feel that seems rude. There wasn't much to the costume, being but a simple mask just big enough to sit over both pairs of his eyes, covers for each of the wings, and finally a little fluffy thing that sat around the base of the tail that resembled feathers. He turns slowly and carefully, extending his wings one by one so she can see the covers properly.
Costume: Tufted Duck

Meeni watched you with clear mirth in her gaze, trying to be somewhat professional but finding the outfit incredibly silly for such a large, dramatic Lambicorn. A small giggle manages to slip past her facade as she spoke, "A..duck? It's very..cute. I-Um. Ya know what? You done did good. You look so darn proud of yourself that I can't even complain.

"C'mere," she crooned, raising one paw and gesturing for you to lean down to her level. When you complied and knelt down before her, she grinned and trotted closer as if to whisper a secret in your ear. Moments before she would have said something, you feel something hairy tickle your ear. Upon shaking the unknown object off, you realize it was a tarantula the size of Meeni's paw. Dang. You've been tricked.

Describe you showing off your outfit:
The great Oobicorn overlord, Jamboo steps forward to the small black and blue lambabie, "hello small child, how are you today? I have a costume I'm hoping you may appreciate. The adults seem not to like it so I'm hoping a younger taste will give it more thought than that of an older one." The giant elder has his fist wings disappear and points with one of his hands to his costume. "This is a ring leader costume from season two, episode twenty five of Oobi. My tie is much more sparkly than Kako's was, but I'm afraid I need large amounts of fabric for anything I wear, and this rather sparkly stuff is all I could find for the tie." He leans down to show her his bright red hat, "I had this one specially tailored for me a year ago as well, I think that once I'm done with it I could give it to a lambabie to have as a club house." He raises his head again and looks down at the small lambicorn proudly, hoping his confidence in younger generations won't be shattered. "So," he asks, "what do you think?"

Peri dragged Helena out of the changing booth, the latter wearing a grumpy expression on her face, though it was hidden by her mask. ”Seriously? We’ve had to explain our costumes like a million times now, I’m tired! I wanna go sleep!” Helena whined.

“Oh, shush. I promise, I won’t make you do any more explaining after this, but I am so proud of our costumes I can’t help but show them off to everyone! It doesn’t even matter that yours is very clearly homemade, I think that adds to the charm of it.” Peri smiled as she approached Meeni. “Greetings. We are Queen Peri and Queen Helena of the Land of Undying. I hope you enjoy our costumes!”

Costume: Wicked witch and her black cat companion

Meeni was already hopping back and forth when they approached, clearly having seen their costumes from afar and been waiting for them. She barely gives you time to finish speaking before she jumps in, "I love, love, love the witchy costume. Especially the dope cutouts. That's cool  . And the black cat as a companion is such a cute sidekick idea. Though-I'm kind of wondering how you fit your wings under there." She circles Helena with a perplexed expression before giving up the mystery, instead turning back to you (Peri).

"Well, anyways. You look fantastic. Let me borrow your hat someday. And oh! Your treat. Hold on a minute." She holds up a paw that signaled you both to wait as she trotted over to a large black bag. She returned with a green box roughly the size of her head. "Here ya go!" You open it to find a strangely appetizing bottle inside?

"Uhhhhhhhhhhhh..hi." Meeni stared at him for a solid 15 seconds before finally shaking herself out of whatever Oobi trance you unintentionally put her in. While still wary, she did her best to smile up at you, her wings instinctively tucking against her sides as a form of safety. After taking the long trek around you to see the entirety of your outfit, she pauses on front of you again. "Ya know. I like the bow tie. It's probably the best part." She gave a lopsided grin before continuing, "And your hat would make a fabulous club house! I would definitely hang out there. It's very..dapper." With a laugh, she moved to walk away, talking at the same time. "I think you did very well Mr. Oobi and I think you deserve a prize."

Meeni dug around waist deep in a large trash bag before pulling out a box that..in no logical way could have actually fit in the bag. She dragged the huge box back to you and grinned, encouraging you to open it. Inside was a giant bag of peppermint sticks on top of a large bag of fruit snacks. "Happy Halloween!"

Describe you showing off your outfit:
With a lot of confidence, Demian steps forward. He flutters his hair with arrogance, then smirks mysteriously. His face is half hidden under a white mask, paimted with a beautiful and delicate golden pattern. As he continues moving, the cape on his shoulders is waving majestically, conferring a little dramatic effect. He looks like an unreal appearance from the underworld.
He clears his throat looking into the eyes of the Lambicorn in front of him. "Hello Damien, I'm Demian, the ghost. Why am I hiding my face, you may wonder. Well... not everyone can handle to see such a handome lambie" said him laughing. "You look pretty good too, I gotta admit. It looks like the Team Trick has gathered the pretty faces around here"
Turning suddenly, Demian continued "Anyways, I've some lambies to haunt mwhaha"
Costume: the Phantom of the Opera

Damien eyed you up as you approached, his gaze appreciative of the outfit and overall aesthetic.

“Very..dramatic choice, Demian,” he commented wryly, his lips quirking into a very subtle smirk. “I actually quite like it. The outfit suits your colors very well and the stitching is very meticulous. Color me impressed.” Damien was sure the surprise on your face was obvious to those around you considering he is not the type to dish out compliments very often (unless you’re Leana of course).

“I think this calls for a surprise, come.” Damien gestures for you to follow him, not waiting to see if you were. He just casually assumed you would as he led you over to a tent in a secluded corner. Opening the flap and stepping aside to allow you to enter first, he waited. When you boldly took the move to go into the tent, you were suddenly covered in cold, sticky goop of some kind.

You’ve been tricked. You exit the tent with an indignant stride, your glorious costume now covered in brown caramel. “It’s a little bit of a pity, really. But I couldn’t help myself.” Damien’s eyes were filled with teasing mirth as he turned and walked away, letting you deal with the aftermath yourself.

Describe you showing off your outfit: Calypso slowly approached Meeni, unsure of how to catch her attention. She didn't interact with lambabies that much (besides maybe Valentine), so she spent about 5 minutes thinking about what to say.
"Hey, kid." She finally said. "Do you like my costume? I'm a pirate!" Her oversized hat slid over her eyes, so she had to put it in place again for what was probably the fifth time that night.
Costume: Pirate captain with a ridiculously large hat (she couldn't find one her size pls no bulli)

Meeni was totally aware of your presence the entire time you had been stalking her. But because she was used to Leana’s nervous habits when trying to talk to people, she had allowed you to speak on your own time. When you finally spoke, she offered a reassuring smile and nodded, her chain earrings swinging with the movement. “I like it! It fits you well. You ARRRRR the best pirate I’ve ever seen.”

With a cheeky wink, she reached into a big black bag and pulled out a small bag that looked kind of like a pumpkin and handed it to you. Upon opening it, you find some licorice strands that you happily begin to munch on.

“Hmmm.” Damien watched you with an odd look in his eyes, his lips turned down into a slight frown. “It’s..unique?” In the distance, you hear Leana chide him for being rude, his expression sour for a moment before he attempted to lighten it. “Sure. You look..like a beach ghost. I suppose you want a prize? Very well. Come.” He turned and began walking, not sparing a glance to see if you were following. Upon arriving at a tent in a secluded corner, he opened the flap and invited you to step in before him.

Hesitantly, you oblige, entering the tent. You look around and see all sorts of knick knacks around you but before you can ask about any of them, Damien is suddenly right in front of you with a small box. He hands it to you and watches you open it, a very slight, unsettling smile upon his face. Once you open it, you realize why as a fake skeleton hand reaches out of the box and grabs your arm in a tight grip. You’ve been tricked! And you are now stuck with a fake hand for the rest of the day until you can cut it off.

UPDATE: PLEASE READ

Entries have been rolling in, Lambicorns of all sizes and shapes have been ejoying the festivities, and despite a little bit of trouble brewing, this little site has remained relatively calm. But all good things can come to an end...

After a long day of exploring with Aronia and seeing various outfits, Meeni was exhausted. She bid farewell to Aronia and returned to the camper she and her family lived in together. Upon entering her room, she removed her mask, set it on the nightstand, and approached her bed. Carefully placed on top of her pillow was an intricately carved wooden chest. It was small and sturdy, truly a piece of art. In awe of the object, she lifted the lid, even more entranced at the object it contained.

“Wow!” Meeni murmured in excited amazement, “I have to show Mom!” With that thought in mind, she carried the box out to Leana. “Ma, look! Isn’t this cool! It even matches my costume!”

Leana peered inside the box with an odd expression on her face. “Uhm. Meeni. Where did you get this?”

“Oh, it was on my bed when I got home. Isn’t it cool?” Meeni reached in the box and grabbed the black chained necklace and looped it around her neck. As she spun around to show Leana, the smile fell from her face. “Mom?” She croaked, her throat tight at the sight of her mother standing completely frozen before her. Like a china doll, the fright in her eyes was permanently etched into Meeni’s soul.

“What? What is happening?” Meeni stumbled backwards only to realize that everyone BUT her was frozen. Even the leaves blowing in the wind were stuck midair like they were suspended by wires. “It. It must be this necklace. I-I don’t know how but it has to be!” Meeni yanked the necklace off, snapping the chain, and threw it onto the ground, aggressively stomping on the gemstone it held until it cracked and finally broke.

“The Faire is open, the air is chilly, and your eyes are wide with wonder and excitement. I can’t blame you, I’m excited too!” You turn your head at the high-pitched voice, unsure if it’s speaking to you. “Hi there!” A midsize Lambaby beamed up at you, her eyes filled with their own excitement as she grabs your paw/hoof and drags you over to a booth where various other Lambies are mingling. “Look, Ma! I found another one!!” she shouts towards a dark grey Lambicorn with pink and yellow hair, presumably her mother.

The Lambicorn in question smiled dotingly at the little one as it let go and bounded off to find its next victim. “Hi, I’m Leana,” the Lambicorn spoke up softly, drawing your attention away from the little ball of energy. “Well. Uhm. That was Eeni and she’s helping bring people here to our little site.” You take a glance around, noting various pieces of costume, clothing, wigs, and makeup scattered around a set of foldable tables. Nearby was a few full-body size mirrors and a tent with a sign in front that read “occupied.”

“That’s the changing room,” Leana remarked, nodding in the direction you were just looking. She walked over to the foldable tables and flashed a shy smile. “This is where the magic happens. Heh. Here, you can make your own costume to wear for the duration of the event or just for fun if you’d like. When it’s ready, you can go to the changing room to try it on and then come show me. If I love the outfit, I might give you a little treat, but sometimes a trick. It’s a surprise.” She giggled nervously before continuing, “At the end of the event, there will be a big costume contest for a grand prize too! I’m really excited for that part.”

Leana hesitated, unsure of what else to say as she shifted from paw to paw in an awkward little dance. “Uhmmmmmm. I think that’s everything. Oh- yeah. I’m not the only judge or that wouldn’t be fair, right? The whole family will help judge the costumes, so you can bring it to whichever one of us you prefer.” Her smile visually warms as she points out each member of her family to you.

“I’m Leana. I think I already said that? I don’t remember. Heh. Anyways, over there is Eeni, you already met her. She likes glitter, fairies, wings, halos, and cutesy stuff like that. And of course my lifemate, Damien is over by the mirrors there. He likes the spooky, oddball stuff.”

Leana turns her doe eyes back to you when she finishes her little speech, smiling with only a twinge of her usual nervousness. You can tell that talking about her family relaxed her a bit. “You can get started any time you want and remember to have fun with it. There is no wrong answer.”

Haven’t you been here before..? Why are you here again? And something feels off... It’s some sort of deja vu? You keep these thoughts and the nervousness you’re feeling to yourself, instead deciding to go along with it. I suppose since they don’t mind, you can make a second outfit? But to be safe, maybe you should mention this to Sybil at the daily bonfire.
