Raihan poked the map in front of him, on the cardboard floor, and yelled, "I AM SEEKING... I don't know." He pawed at the map, being careful not to tear it. Raihan frowned.
"Yo, buddy... what was that?" A teal and bronze-gold Lambi said uncertainty, slowly coming out from behind a tree, "Also... why are you in a cardboard box?"
"THIS IS MY SHIP! THE SS. N'ROCIBMAL." Raihan said.
"Uh... okay?" Farin raised an eyebrow skeptically. Whether on the ship's name or the box... Raihan wasn't sure. "Just uh... holler if you need help?" Farin carefully patted the flap of the box shop and left.
Raihan nodded. Farin carefully patted the flap of the box shop and left. Raihan shook his head. Farin was as close as family to him, but he didn't really enjoy the forest. It was too quiet. Too boring. But he didn't want to leave... not that Farin couldn't take care of themselves, but cause they didn't want to leave their only friend. (Farin talked of some other Lambies... but Raihan is shy.) They wanted to find a place... close by... but...
He remembered other Lambies teasing him back in Lambergarten. That's why he had moved once he was old enough...
"Nggngng." Raihan faceboxed, succeeding in tipping over and falling face-first to the forest floor. He righted himself and looked around. "I'm seeking a place to call home, while still being close enough to my sib... and where I can be welcomed." He whispered, frowning at the map, "But where is that?"
yes, I didn't realize this was a raffle why so my answer is longer than needed. short answer: a golden pocketwatch.
many, many years ago, the cloudkeeper encountered a problem.
the Elder of time and safety, this ancient creature was devastated to learn that his most trusted, most loyal follower had disappeared. Tanwa had been sent to locate an ancient relic, said to bring endless life to even a mortal and long since lost at the bottom of the forgotten sea, and hadn't returned. the cloudkeeper had no words, no ideas, no plans. they were plunged into despair. Tanwa was gone, this dangerous relic was gone, and hope was gone.
but Aerwyna didn't agree. 'the seas are my domain, cloudkeeper. you should have discussed with me before sending Tanwa into its depth. I can help you, though. my followers know the seas like they know their own horns. they will search for the relic, and if Tanwa can be found, they will find Tanwa.'
so here she was, in a makeshift boat of vines, a hollowed tree trunk and a cloudy sail provided by the cloudkeeper. searching for some relic that lay at the bottom of the ocean, and for some missing lambicorn who probably didn't want to be found. Evren slumped on the side of the ship, fingering her ragged red bandana absently. it seemed quite pointless to her, but the Elders wished it: she must do it. stupid quest.
and the two who were sent with her weren't much help. Bermuda had split on the first dive, running off to who knows where. Talk about loyal to Aerwyna! Bermuda was only loyal to herself. As for Lotan, he had sailed into the horizon on their boat and left her in this 'life-boat' with their spare sail, a feeble little wisp of a cloud.
Evren scowled grumpily, gazing down into the dark water. No little glint of gold, no tick-tick-ticking of a clock: this 'golden pocketwatch of immortal life' was nowhere to be found. She'd probably end up wherever Tanwa was, sunken and lost forever. And it would serve Aerwyna right, losing the only one of her pirates loyal enough to actually continue looking for this treasure and it's former seeker. And losing all her fickle crew, too.
But Evren couldn't return home until it was found. It's said she's still searching, to this day...
