"Build a Bear!" Bee calls out, yanking on her friend's arm.
"You're joking right?" Her friend rolls her eyes at Bee's enthusiasm.
"Does it look like i'm joking? I don't have this back at home, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity!" Bee persist to tug the arm until Pip gives way.
"We're too old for this." She mumbles, miserably following Bee.
"This is great! Look Pip!" Bee points at the rack of plush skins along the wall.
"lovely." Pip remarks sarcastically.
Bee walks up to the small heaps of fabrics, picking up an orange bear skin. "Look Pip! It's a pumpkin bear!"
"Thats the ugliest thing I've ever seen!"
"What? No way! He's just in time for spoopy season!" Bee cradles the fabric lovingly in her arms. "Lets go get him stuffed!" Bee leads Pip to a huge stuffing machine.
"Thats night terrors for you." She grimaces, as the bear is shoved onto a small pipe, gradually filling with stuffing.
"Cmon, let's get him and outfit!"
"Theres more?" Pip groans. Bee ignores her and begins sorting through dozens of outfits. As minutes pass, Bee turns around and presents two items of clothing to her friend. "Do you prefer dinosause onesie or the pumpkin costume?" Her friends face shows an expression of disgust.
"Can't you choose something cuter? Like- these overalls?"
"Dino Onesie it is!" Bee announces, before Pip can retrieve the overalls. When Bee was satisfied with a maple tree sent and subtle heartbeat, the bear was packaged up and handed to her. "Thank you ma'am." Bee smiles to the counter lady. "Ready to go now Pip?" Bee turns to an uneasy face. "Whats wrong?"
"Can I make a bear too...?"

Her eyes fluttered open, "Still here, huh?" Gemini pushed herself up and looked into the mirror beside her daybed. Watching the imposter who took over her life. Her eyes stared longingly at the plush lying on the floor of her old room. "Mallow..." She whispered, why did they leave her on the floor! Mallow was everything to Gemini, she was the last thing her father had done with her before he changed... She shook her head, "Oh Mallow, I miss you... I miss the old dad too... and mom, I miss everyone! I hate it here." With a heavy sigh she checked her phone just like every other day, and just like every other day she had no service. "Curse this stupid mirror realm," she glared at the door as the slider opened and food was shoved through. She ate grudgingly, and turned around snapping up her sewing. Stitching pink patches on a white bear, if she couldn't have Mallow, she'd remake him. While ot wasn't the best it was good enough if she closed her eyes, she could imagine that day. She squished the left paw and imagined her dad's voice, "Hey my sweet daughter, I love you!" she could hear it chime, she could smell vanilla if she thought hard enough. Tears spilled out of her eyes as memories flooded back, both good and bad, Mallow was a key to just about everything at the moment, it was all she could even try to duplicate from her old life, the only time back to her world. If only she could get back...

prompt: Since Hopscotch saw the Spring Green Frog she knew that she had to find herself one. She had a small collection of frog plushies that she had been gifted from friends and a couple that had been won earlier that evening at the Arkade. She could not believe her luck as they left the arkade that night and saw the Build-A-Bear open across the street. She was even more excited to see they still had her dream froggie in store! She bought a small selection of outfits for her new companion and had her friends leave wishes in her new plush. Before they left the small group snapped some pictures in front of the arkade lights to finish up the magical night with a means of remembering it.

Receiving Benson the Second was a dream come true for the young kalon. She had spent so many nights crying herself to sleep over losing her original Benson; the dear celebratory gift her father had given to Cherche after her diagnosis. One moment of distraction at a bus stop bench with Dad... and Benson was never to be seen again. But then an unstuffed Benson the Second, an almost mirror-image of his predecessor, entered the scene. That same day Cherche and her father drove over to the BAB store to let the young kal bring to life and accessorize her new friend. When the stuffing was just about to commence, Cherche's father stepped up before the kal could pick out a heart.
"Here, I think you'll like this one."

Cherche's eyes lit up as she took the small device and clicked the button. Within a second a loving message from her father began to play. Though she couldn't quite express the joy in her heart, her father knew just by the flicking of her tail.
Now, after the stuffing came the clothes and accessories. Though he expected to be there for at least an hour while she pondered the choices, it was the firefighter outfit that instantly caught her attention. It reminded her of her Dad's volunteer work when she was little, so in her heart she knew Benson the Second was simply meant to wear it. As Benson the Second came together, piece by piece, Cherche began to feel a bit overwhelmed. Cherche's father picked up on her fidgeting and gently guided her to the cashier and then to the car. He popped in her favorite CD and whispered an 'I love you' as she curled up in her seat, beginning to enjoy her dream come true once again.
