They were found out along a forest trail by some hikers. They seem super friendly and they have a great sense of smell!

Prompt - Although fairly young at 3 years, the older soul of Brandy has found solace in the wonderful smells of the self made life. He could say that the spring grasses and morning dew is a wonderful smell, being crisp and new as he runs through it at early dawn. Brandy has made note of dirt- for whatever reason dirt smells wonderful in a fall's afternoon. However what brings memories of nearly forgotten days as a younger dog is the smell of freshly baked bread sitting on the sill. The lady of the house loved baking, various berries throughout the harvest seasons being made into jams to spread on top- along with home churned butter. Its warm and inviting, comforting even as the soft butter melts along the visible sides in cuts of the loaf. After leaving for a few hours with the master they both would return to whistles and distinct smells of freshly baked loafs of bread. The friendly early morning is the perfect time for the family to gather and spend some time before returning to work- accompanied by smells of warm bread. And as such the smell of it always gets Brandy's tail to wag like a rudder. [201 words]
