Music has always been a good way to drown out the other noises with something he likes, and so he has a huge collection of music on standby now for when he needs it. Ray has also found that music has a lot of other uses for him. Music helps him focus, comforts him, and is just generally one of his favorite things! He's almost always got his earbuds in. Anyway, she enjoys listening to hard-pop (that's what she calls it) for fun and, surprisingly, for relaxing!

There are a LOT of different types of music, and Posse is a fan of the... stranger types. Sure, they'll listen to more upbeat songs like Oh No! or Garden of Eden, but that's probably the most normal of their tastes. They're often drawn towards music with strange lyrics, like the works of Jack Stauber or There Might Be Giants. Posse also has a soft spot for music that can barely be classified as music. Nero's Day at Disneyland? Ruth White reciting translated poetry to an instrumental? New Deep, a song with like 1 line and the rest is just wind and walking sounds? Perfect. Wonderful. Amazing. Effervescent.

In the case of Spiral of Ants- that song just makes Posse really emotional. They have cried while listening to it several times before and it WILL happen again.
