Shadow Flitz (Singular; Shadow Flit) are a long bodies species that have long since lost their hind legs, tail, and eyes to the power of the shadow and have replaced them with mold-able wispy appendages. these large, friendly beasts have been recently tamed to be ridden by humans and anthros alike. They have large, wide front paws, long pointed ears, and short, smooth fur. They can be naturally found in dark caves, wetlands, or thick forests. however have also been spotted in pastures while hunting. They are carnivores- meaning they are only meant to eat meat and they often prey on birds, deer, rodents, and bats.

Jörmungandr lives deep within the mountains shrouded by dense, dark forest.
They reside in a deep cave that is only lit by its small entrance, and the
occasional fires that they light for warmth. They live alone and enjoy the solitude.

No one knows where Jörmungandr originated. As far as the others know, this strange shadow flit has always been around. They seem ageless, not burdened by the weight of a mortal body. Some even believe that there have been multiple flits posing as Jörmungandr throughout the years, but that is only speculation.

Throughout the years, many shadow flits and other creatures have fond their way stumbling upon Jörmungandr's doorstep, whether by accident or actively seeking them out for advice. Some may find them a little unnerving not only because of their unusual appearance, but by the fact that they don't speak. Not verbally anyhow. Others have only been spoken to through their minds, whether it be through words or images or even just abstract thoughts. Jörmungandr has a way of communicating unlike any other. Using this unique power of theirs, they are able to help others with solve their problems and offer support.

other: Forged from the stars, this being was a watchful sentinel designed to protect it's master from threats as they excavate unnamed planets for resources. Gifted with strength and extreme intelligence, they couldn't do anything as they watched their master grounded to a pulp. Forever questioning it's existence, they made a vow to themselves: to forever protect the desolate planet they were left on from being mined further.

Scarred from battles with extraterrestrials, watching as the planet started to flourish, they were drove away from the world they called "home" by it's inhabitants. Left alone, now betrayed by the world, they let go of their sanity. They are now a walking beast, destroying everything it sees. They have burnt down the villages of those who have attempted to drive them away, take away their children, only to be pierced in the core by a child.

They now rest deep within a cave, only taking a look at the outside world once every few millenniums.
