Melisandre is a very determined and smart lioness. She excels in everything she does and is one of the best huntresses to come from her birth pride. Meli's family and friends all know she is destined for great things, she could be queen, she could found her own, new pride. She could do many things and they knew it. But Melisandre wasn't interested in power, or a large pride, or being 'queen'. No, that was not what she was determined for.

Melisandre was determined to start a family of her own. A lot of her childhood and free time were spent training with her mother and sisters. She never got time to socialise much, especially with other males of the pride or outside the pride. Meli is determined to find a mate of her own and start a family of her own.
