Show name: Rising Storm
Barn name: Gale
Gender: stallion
Discipline: Halter showing
Halter type + color: Rope, same color as snowcap marking!
Customization? N/A
Prompt:
His trainer spent extra time with him, he was the first horned Metalleian they had ever worked with. Gale had spent months being trained for this. To put on a bridle and a saddle, to take a rider. He should have been ready for this. He wasn't ready for this.
The saddle went on just fine. Okay, this wasn't too bad. Not even the cinch was as bad as the other horses would sometimes make it out to be. He was calm, he could do this, he was gonna be just fine.
Next was the bridle. Over the nose, make sure to duck his head so his trainer could reach his ears. His trainer had paused before the noseband was fully on and called for another human, was something wrong? He struck the ground with one of his hooves, throwing his head in complaint at being forced to stand still. A surprised and stressed noise from his trainer and there was something stuck TO HIS FACE
Gale took off across the sand of the arena, bucking and rearing as he desperately tried to get... whatever it was! Off of his nose spikes. It finally flew off and into the dirt with one last throw of his front hooves. Quite proud of himself for getting the thing off, and maybe still a little unsettled, he pranced back to his trainer and a few other riders, stopping in front of them with a snort.
He had no idea why they were all looking at him and the bridle in the dirt behind him.
They later decided maybe broader nosebands weren't for Gale and stuck to western riding- or better yet, just to halter showing the horned horse.

Discipline: Jumping
Halter type + color: Standard, indigo
Customization? black english tack w/full (indigo) pad
Prompt: Indigo's horns usually aren't much of a bother, until his bridle or halter is being equipped! The tack tends to get caught a lot, which sometimes ruins it.
Thank you for the opportunity!
Two of my scholastic entries. Tiger will be entered this year and the other one titled "Daisy Dance" is a gold key winner.

Barn name: Indigo
Gender: Stallion
Discipline: Western Reigning
Halter type + color: Emerald green and Rope
Customization? Full western set with emerald green saddle pad (without fringe), Polo Wraps, White Daisies
Prompt: His horns are a bother because he loves making friends! When many see him, they get scared and try to get away, even though his horns are small. This not only makes him sad, but makes him feel unwanted. He dislikes that feeling and it hurts him. Many trainers thought he looked cool and only wanted him so that they could have horses with horns. Whenever he was sold to someone like that, he was separated from the other horses so that he wouldn't hurt them. They also had a hard time figuring out what they wanted him to compete in, as his horns made it hard for him to wear certain things.
When he is with his friends, he just has to be careful about where he puts is face when he is with them. He would never intentionally hurt any of his friends.

Show name: Alexander the great
Barn name: Alexander
Gender: Male
Discipline: vaulting
Halter type + color: Crimson and standard
Customization? a black leather saddle and a crimson saddle pad
Prompt:
Alexander's horns are usually only a bother around foals and bushes. They are a bither around foals because the foals think they are a toy and like to pull on them when he goes to sniff them. They're a bother around bushes cause when Alexander gets excited he doesn't pay attention which leads to him running into something and since his field has a lot of bushes it's usually a bush. Then his horns get stuck on the bush and he panics which could lead to him getting hurt, but it hardly ever does and when it does it's just a nick.

I enjoyed reading all of them but this one stood out.
Congratulations!
