Prompt: Alfonse was a sweet and shy lambicorn, living in the swamps and away from society. He had always lived in the swamps and was abandoned there when he was very young. He was out one day, gathering food in one of the less wet parts of the swamp when he found a young spirit. The spirit was dying, unable to possess a body. It would soon fade, and Alfonse pitied the creature. Alfonse had always been lonely, and an outcast. He practically begged the spirit to take over his body, therefore giving it a place to live. The spirit, whose name was Kelpie, gladly obliged and took over his body, replacing his consciousness with Keplie's. Keplie took over Alfonse's mind and body, and Alfonse disappeared into the darkness as Kelpie was born. Keplie is a trickster and a troublemaker, and enjoys playing pranks on naive travelers that pass through his swamp. Kelpie's old body is located on his tail, and he uses it to attack and scare unsuspecting people.

Prompt: Lire is very sweet and caring, however her appearance scares many off. It always upsets her, though her tail friend, Skye always helps her feel better. The swamp she lives in is near a nuclear power plant, hence the tail mouth and her extra eyes. Skye is a mutation from the radiation. As for why she's there, simple that's where she was born. The reason she stayed is more of a story. She's tried to leave a few times but no one cares to give her a chance to prove herself as a good person. Her mutations are the reason she stays.

Story-

Delilah used to live amongst the rest of the lambicorns, making friends with her neighbors and she was known to be the kindest lambicorn in the village and was always praised. She had white glowing fur with pearl colored stripes all over her body and a gorgeous long tail that dragged behind her, which was her favorite feature. One day a new lambicorn arrived in the village. She had a pink and orange coat with lots of different colored stripes and swirls and was being called the most beautiful lambicorn. Delilah was slowly forgotten about by the village and this newcomer, as she saw it, was taking her place. Delilah got increasingly jealous everyday until she had enough. She tried attacking the other lambicorn, but was stopped by the villagers and cast out of the village. She was cursed by the gods to go live in the swamp and was transformed into a different lambicorn, changing her coat colors and even the tail she loved into a little creature she would name “snap”. She still lives out her days full of jealousy and hatred in the swamp she can never leave.

On her looks
Different doesn't always have to be a bad thing, it simply is. For all that living beings are the same, they are all so different. My looks were the result of a choice, I could either change or my life would cease to go on as I knew it. So I chose to change, to gain this mouth thing on the end of my tail, an extra pair of eyes, flowing almost water like hair and strange plant like extensions to my back and legs. I do not hate the way I look I now nor do I hate the way I looked before, I am simply, different. Those that care about me don't care about my looks so I feel that neither should I, they like my eyes the best, it's the vivid green of them that draws people in. I have to admit I wasn't too thrilled about the colour in the beginning but now I quite enjoy the sight of them looking back at me from the reflection in my mirror.

My family weren't there when I made the choice that changed me, so it came as quite the surprise when we saw one another again. I admit I was terrified, would they hate me? Toss me aside and call me a freak? I consider myself lucky that they listened to my explanation and once I was finished they cried for me, that I'd had to literally choose between life and death, that I chose to change myself in order to live. They told me it was fine, my new look meant noting because they still loved me with everything they had.


Relationship with Rosa
Despite Rosa being a tad snooty, Stheno finds the ballerina's company to be quite enjoyable. The two might be seen as a unlikely pair, one perhaps fitting the definition of swamp monster while the other screams simple elegance, descriptions of each other matter little. For to each other they are simply, Stheno and Rosa. They find merely wandering together more enjoyable than talking about unimportant things like others antics outside their own little world that always happens when they get together. Rosa wont sit and wax poetry about Stheno, she doesn't do poetry anyway, it's not a her preffered subject. She would use the word breathtaking to describe everything that is Stheno, from the extra eyes to the tailmouth. Stheno finds Rosa to be something akin to a rare flower in a field of simple wildflowers, stunning and a sight to behold. She likes to watch Rosa dance, the other Lambicorn flowing from move to move in a way that sets her heart soaring. Rosa is enchanting and Stheno can't help but love everything about her.


On living in the swamp
The swamp wasn't always my home, I chose to live here. Out away from the bustle of the nearby town, in my small house held up away from the water. It's not the prettiest place to live I'll admit and some of the residents are less than friendly but I've found if I keep to myself then they usually ignore me. There's beauty here, in the way the fireflies dance and shine through the night, solovely to look at, with their little glowing lights of life in the dark. Of course there are the different flowers too, particularly the rosemallows and the water lillies. I love the way lillies rest so delicately atop the water and the soft colours of the rose mallows are stunning.

Backstory:Agatha, or Aggie grew up in a small country village where magic was seen as evil and taboo. Being a curious kid they obviously had to check it out and always snuck away to study magic from books her friends had gathered in secret, This went on for years until she was a teen and her parents found out. They saw her casting a simple spell to levitate something and immediately dragged her into the town hall where the council immediately shamed her and through her out of town. In retaliation she cast a curse on the town, but you see she's still a novice at magic. The curse went onto her instead of the townsfolk and she ran away to the swamp to hide.

The Tail: All the curse did was give her some extra eyes and a little spirit on her tail, whomst they've named Gil. Gil has a bit of an attitude and is a trickster and has an attitude, but listens to Agatha. Agatha, after all of this, isn't a mean swamp witch. She makes sure Gil doesn't prank the poor travellers they meet.

Daily Life: She lives alone in the swamp in a hut. Just Aggie and their curse. She's elusive, but people in nearby towns know her as the "swamp witch" that helps lost travellers. She sometimes goes and sells potions and stuff to these local towns but she always wears a cloak, so nobody gets startled at her appearance. She doesn't mind how she looks, but these towns aren't the most welcoming to arcane looking creatures even if some of their shops buy Aggie's potions. Agatha hopes to one day move to a town with a proper school for witchcraft to practice her craft and find others like her.
