Gwyneddhe is known throughout Uaill Aislingean as the laziest lion among them, or perhaps the most openly so. He is not proud of such a reputation, but he cannot deny its seeming accuracy. After all, it is not as if he has ever told anyone but the head àrach of the terrors in the night that keep him awake, frozen in place as nameless monsters circle him in a frenzy of hate and darkness. Unable to sleep until the dawning light drives them away, he is forced to doze during the day—attempting to stay awake to hunt only causes him to drop asleep wherever he is without warning. As such, he hardly leaves the Sloc Dachaigh, anywhere but home would leave him vulnerable or disrupt another‘s would-be successful hunt. He has not been capable of fulfilling his role as a tioram sealg since his first hunt, where he chased a separated fiadbhiast all the way past the Loidhne Toll Uisge and into a pack of itheadair bàis. The head àrach believes that event scarred him mentally, causing his paralyzing terrors at night. Rather than have them pity him, Gwyneddhe simply allows the other lions to look down on him for slacking in his duty.

Pátroklos was disgraced and exiled from their old pride. Being a prince they weren’t exactly used to doing things for themself and quickly they started getting the reputation of a haughty and lazy prince. Although no one knew why they had been exiled except for the leader rumors spread quickly. A first born son and heir being exiled was practically unheard of he must’ve done something awful. And so the mixed reputation of being unable to care for himself plus whatever rumors that week of what he had done followed him around. Pátroklos was not dumb. He knew and heard the rumors and although he had done things wrong he didn’t believe he deserved the reputation.

In reality he had gotten angry with another adolescent who had been taunting him and when he attacked him he accidentally pushed the lion onto a rock, killing him. And it haunted Pátroklos, he felt awful for what he had done but he didn’t believe he was a monster. It has been unintentional after all. But it brought him such pain to bring up the event so he never corrected others. The rumors of his exile have mainly died down at this point and he’d rather be seen as lazy and snooty then a killer
