I wanted to do something that meant a lot to them. I decided to piece together flowers I knew and recognized into the nonbinary pride flag--they are nonbinary, after all. I decided on Yellow Trumpet Daffodils for a promise of honesty, trust, and forgiveness through our friendship. Then, I went with White Heather to tell them I was always here to protect them--help them if they ever needed a shoulder to cry on--and to help make their wishes come true. Following that, I wanted to symbolize a strong friendship with the Purple Alstroemerias I pieced between the heather and the Black Calla Lilies, which were the centerpiece that represented a never-ending friendship, and hope that our friendship may last over lifetimes.

Isaiah has loved Aderes for an eternity, perhaps longer, yet has never attempted to express
so before. After meeting numerous times in what must be an undisputed fate, he arranged
a makeshift flower bouquet to finally offer him; as Aderes is a spirit of the flowers and fluent
in their languages, Isa knows his tumultuous emotions can finally be understood by someone -
and, he prays, accepted.

The sympathy Isa feels for the lost souls Aderes assists brought forth a cleansing of his being,
and he longs for his own lost purity; the calla lillies were added first. The carnations were
second; he simply felt he must warn Aderes of his capricious mannerisms and burden of self-
dislike. Next, the dahlias; while beautiful, Isa is damaged by a dark past and hurtful betrayals
- it will take him a long time to truly trust himself or others again. Then, the anemones (his
personal favorite) - his love for Aderes may be forsaken due to their different roles, but the
anticipation of a relationship brings new hope every day. Lastly, the pink oleanders; while
reborn, he must remind Aderes of how poisonous he is, and to take caution when considering
his proposal of love. [199]
