Prompt: The first time Priscilla ran into a cat it was not at all how she expected it to be. She loved interacting with all sorts of animals but when she practically collided with one on a morning walk the vibe changed extremely quickly. The hairs on her neck stood tall and she wouldn't lie,,, she was a little scared BUT! for naught! She was a brave little pup. She waltz right up to the cat and have a great big and strong growwwllll.

She was sure she had gotten the upper hand in the encounter and was proud of herself until the cat, completely unfazed decided to be swipe at her nose as a retaliation! Luckily Priscilla had good reflexes and dodged the hit but she ran away, shaking in her harness. After this, she swore she would never interact with another feline as long as she had a say.

Sunny had only known one cat throughout most of her life, and that’s the kennel owner’s [Braelynn “Bee”] house cat, Daisy May. Sunflower and Daisy May got along quite well, the feline follows Bee around the property while she tends to the dogs, so the huskies were all used to the Daisy May’s presence. To Sunny, she was like the bringer of good luck, Sunny had tied the sighting of Daisy May to Bee, and Bee happen to be one of Sunny’s favorite things; whenever you saw Daisy May, Bee usually wasn’t far behind.
Though one day, a stray cat had managed to find the property while Sunny was having outside time. Of course, Sunflower approached that unfamiliar feline with happy curiosity– only to be met by a set of swiping claws. Once the cat had left a few stinging cuts on Sunny’s muzzle it was sent running back where it came from when Sunflower’s alarming yelping caused a few dogs within the kennel to bark. Sunny went in search of Bee to give her an earful of unhappy whimpering. Unfortunately, the cuts had to be examined by the clinic the next day. Sunflower held a strong dislike towards the vet, she wasn’t a fan of being poked and prodded by strangers. Luckily she was sent only home with some medicated cream to slap on the cuts.
Since then, Sunflower became quite wary of all cats, even Daisy May– the bringer of good luck. She’s tied the sightings of any cat to a vet visit, though the sight of Daisy May still receives a tail way due to Bee, Sunny is still quite scared of the feline either way.

Camel stiffened as she heard the questioning meow of a cat from nearby. She was out in the yard, a few feet away from the back door of the kennel. Cats were common in this area. Too common for Camel's liking, especially.
Hearing the meow of a feline always made her remember why she'd started being wary of cats in the first place.

It was a hot summer's morning, and the dogs of the kennel had just been let out for their hour of playing in the sunlight.
Camel strided confidently to the end of the fence that kept the dogs inside the field. She plopped down in her favorite mud puddle and squirmed around, dirtying her fur with dusty mud. She'd just gotten up when a tiny "mew!?" caught her attention.
Camel followed the noise to the source- a single white kitten, laying on the inside of the fence. What was it doing here? Why was it here? Camel licked her nose and drew closer to the kitten. She was about to pick up the poor scrap of fur when a loud "RREOW!" caught her off gaurd. A large gray cat landed directly in front of Camel, and it hissed at her! Camel stumbled backwards, shocked, but angrily bwoofed and came forward. She needed to show her owner the kitten!! Her owner would know how to handle it.
But the gray cat was insistent. It poofed up, growling, and when it'd supposedly had enough, it struck.
"AAAOAOOOO!!!"

Camel's dog friends have never let her live it down.
She herself had been struck with a deep distaste for cats. Mangy, stupid felines...
Camel grumbled to herself as she layed her head on her paws and drifted off to sleep. Hopefully she didn't dream about cats again this time.

When Six was a puppy, the breeder thought it wise to introduce a litter of kittens to the puppies to socialize both with the opposite species. Of course, this was closely monitored for their safety. Six had been asleep and was awoken by a sibling poking her. She poked it back with her eyes still closed, going back to sleep. This same thing proceeded to happen three more times, the pokings getting progressively harder between her and her sibling. Finally, after the fifth poke, she opened her eyes to snarl... only to see the biggest blue eyes she'd ever seen right at her nose! For six long seconds, she and the black kitten stared at each other, the kitten with curiosity, Six with fear. Then Six took off, and tried to get as far from the kitten as she could. It kept chasing her! Six was terrified.

For weeks afterwards, she jumped at the sight of her own shadow, expecting it to open bright blue eyes and extend a sharp-clawed paw to poke her. Her siblings, naturally, found the whole thing hilarious. But Six knew. She knew. That kitten would be back. And while she knows that by this point she would be many times the size of the cat, she continues to live in fear of those blue eyes reaching out from the shadows.
