Welcome to the Euphorian Retired Racehorse Project
Euphorian Thoroughbreds are a rare string of the Thoroughbred breed. They come from a single farm simply called “Euphoria” that has horses with mutated genes. These allow them to be able to possess any realistic coat or markings. Everything else about the sub-type is the same. Long, strong legs, a powerful hind, and great speed. Their eyes are soft and the breed is incredibly smart, if not a bit goofy. They love kids and have the rare ability to excel in any discipline. They can grow from 15hh-18hh, though usually somewhere in the middle.
The horses readopted through the Euphorian Retired Racehorse Project are looking for a new loving home and a new job. They’ve tried racing and have either retired or decided the sport wasn’t for them. Either way, they are ready for the next chapter in their life. Some of these horses will come with a little training already, and will have their new discipline already determined. Although others you’ll get to pick how they move forwards!

Competition:Spartan loves getting to celebrate pride month with his fellow equines and the riders. Their stable is just outside of a small rural town and every pride month everyone gets together to be thankful and celebrate with one another and hold festivities.
On the morning of the annual pride parade, Spartan has an hour long grooming session so that he looks absolutely perfect, nicely washed, clean sparkly hooves and a combed out wavy mane. After about another hour or so the children of the riders at the barn along with his rider start tying and weaving ribbons and decorative flowers into his mane of all kinds of colours and patterns, and he even gets a few fancy plaits. His tail gets dip-dyed into a rainbow and they get out his rainbow blanket with a pride banner across it and he gets led outside and given plenty of treats from the kids and other riders as they make their horses all decorative just like him. He is then tacked up to a trailer at roughly 4pm, which is filled and organised into the pride flag with all kinds of beautiful flowers, and he gets charged with leading the parade through town. They take a main route through the highstreet and pass under all the pride banners, and he often tries to take a nibble of them if he gets the chance, but for the most part he struts his stuff and smiles for the crowd and they have 2 kids sit on the back of the trailer and drop petals behind them as a sort of path for the rest of the horses and riders behind him.

The celebration is full of cheer and love, and once it's finished the riders all get together and go on a 5 mile hack through the woods up to the hills where they have a picnic and then everyone goes home whenever they feel like it. The entire day goes by like a blur but Spartan always pushes himself to be his best and make the day memorable for the kids and enjoys getting to take part, but he also loves the time he gets to bond with his rider since she can often be busy, at school or doing lessons with him. The time they get to bond together and have fun matters to him more than anything! His rider is bisexual and usually gets to hold up the large bi flag behind him on a different horse of the event since he has the flower trailer duty, but he couldn't be prouder of her achievements and those of her friends.
Spreading joy and love is what makes his life feel worth it

For the rest of the month he spends a lot of time pampering his boyfriend Crow who is the cutest stallion he has ever laid his eyes on. They've been a couple for a little over a year so they have only recently gotten to celebrate pride together, and Spartan made sure it would be one he wouldn't forget. He spent all his free time with him in the paddock and Brought him gifts and even saved some of his pride parade treats for him, and he spends a lot of time just keeping him happy and laughing since crow didn't have a good upbringing, and often got bullied for his lack of interest in mares. So of course once Spartan came along he made it his life's mission to give crow the life he deserves, so the two often get painted up together and give rides to kids the following days after the parade. He's just happy that crow can be himself now and not worry about anything, and he makes sure that crow knows he is accepted and loved.

Of course, Pancake marches in the local pride parade. It's his favourite event of the year, since it's hot out and he only has to walk around. He's trained to hold a pride flag in his mouth and goes in a hackamore. Pancake's calm and charming disposition make him perfect for parade riding. He also wears rainbow ribbons braided into his mane and tail, and off the rings on the saddle, his rider fastens a garland of many different pride flags. His hooves are painted in Pan Pride glitter, and he is decorated with horse-safe finger paints and glitter on his face, shoulders, and legs.

They ride together in a group with some other LGBTQIA+ equestrians from the area, and in the front of the group there are two miniature ponies, who Pancake LOVES. The ponies are named Tornado and Chrissy, and they have been doing the parade as long as Pancake has, so they are pretty close friends. Tornado even comes to local events with Pancake and his stablemates, as Tornado's owner basically treats him like a dog.

After the parade, there is a meet-and-greet with all the animals in the local park. It almost has a carnival feel, with people of all kinds coming to show their solidarity or celebrate their pride. In addition to the horses, there are goats and llama from another section of the 4-H chapter. You can pay $1 to ride Pancake or one of the other horses, and the proceeds to go the Trevor Project.

After the parade, after all the glitter and paint is washed off, Pancake gets turned out with his best friends and takes a loooong nap.
