Of anything in the whole wide world, the thing that makes Penny happiest is her cats. There's just something about fiddling with toe beans or the soft rumble of a content purr that warms her heart. There's nothing better than the feeling of a cat pressing up against you for cuddles. Heck, when it comes down to it, she even loves the occasional unnecessary 2 am yowl fest or the tendency to swing from wanting attention to wanting to be left alone at the drop of the hat. Her favorite thing in the whole world is curling up with a nice hot cup of mint tea and one of her cats and watching a storm roll by or settling in for some guilty pleasure TV. He's remarkably uncoordinated for a cat and has a tendency to abruptly get the zoomies. He's also the world's biggest cuddler and seems to have a psychic sense for when Penny's about to sit down. Seems no sooner as she had the thought to sit down that he's in her face and usurping her book or computer's spot in her lap.

֎ othello is the newest of her cats. He's young and foolish and honestly Penny is start to suspect that he is not the brightest cat in the world. He acts more like a dog than a cat and has a tendency to shred anything he can get his claws on. He crucially doesn't seem to understand the concept of doors - or at the very least is doing his best to deny their existence. He may look like a dapper tuxedo man, but it often feels like he should be handed a jester's cap instead.

"Happiness is a subjective term- some may find happiness in seeing dogs or kittens, spending time with their friends, or even listening to music. Happiness comes in many shapes, sizes, and colors- for me, happiness is the silver lining between mindfulness and mindlessness.

I am a meditator- I practice meditation right in the morning as soon as I wake up, and then perform a small session prior to falling asleep. Meditation is calming and quiet- it allows for me to truly become one with myself both in mind and body- especially my mind. There are many types of meditation, usually my go-to is Mindful Meditation, however I do tend to dabble in other forms once in a while. It truly does help lessen my fears and anxieties and really allows me to focus and allow myself the inner peace I so crave. I tend to teach meditation classes as well- I went from doing yoga to meditation after my parents passed away as a way to find closure with their departure; and along the way i decided this was my life's work. I live in a small town so it was a tad difficult at first to contact others who may be interested, but thankfully with some help I was able to move from online sessions to in-person group meditation classes! It brings me so much joy seeing those around me learn and practice meditation and find a fit that is perfect for them- watching them smile, eyes wide in wonder and amazement... It's a beautiful thing.

However, this was not merely just a sandwich...no...hardly...this was a special snack. On any other occasion, Aiko would jump from the counter and couldn't care less what was going on with their food however, when they were stewing in their hunger is when their parents knew how to make them the happiest. After eating, their parents would lay Aiko down for a nap and they could sleep peacefully with a full tummy and the memory of their parent's caring smiles.
