[1] unique extra eyes - as you'll see she has four eyes on her head! that being said she usually only uses the top set, opting to keep the bottom set closed. why, you may ask? because often she's bothered by her lack of normalcy, and when it starts to get to her she closes her extra eyes. she knows nobody can see her face, that's not the point-- the point is that it makes her feel more like a normal keldine. she sees a lot better with all four eyes open, but then again... she'd also see a lot better if she didn't have her hair constantly covering her face, another sacrifice she's willing to make in order to feel like a normal person.

[2] rare multiple carved scales - she has three tear-drop shaped scales on her face, two under one set of eyes, one under the other. sometimes people catch them glinting through her hair and ask, but she always avoids the question if it pertains to her face because of how self-conscious she is. between friends, she actually thinks her carved scales are pretty, though. they're the one thing about her face that she admires in the mirror.

[3] common colored sclera - her sclera are a dark purple, something she thinks makes her look scary and unapproachable. the dark parts surrounding her eyes make the brighter iris seem to glow in low-light settings.

[4] rare horns - she has large ram horns which curl underneath her ears. she doesn't mind her horns much, though she does think they look bulky and un-ladylike. her biggest gripe with them is that her hair often gets caught on them when she's brushing it out, which makes dealing with her large mass of hair, already a difficult ask, a much more challenging ordeal. she feels like her horns on anybody else would look fine, but because of the strange face that they frame, she feels like they just make her look more like a monster.

[5] rare teeth edit - she has large, sharp canines that aren't white, but a soft teal color. she keeps these tucked in her mouth as often as possible, but it's uncomfortable to do. she feels like her long fangs make her look devilish, and she works hard to hide them, even though no one can see them. it's another of those things that only she knows about.

[7] uncommon no pupil - she feels like her lack of pupils makes her eyes look empty and haunting. it's one of the reasons she chooses to cover them. if she's absolutely forced to pull her hair back away from her face, she'd rather wear the tackiest, ugliest sunglasses on the earth than reveal her eyes, even if it's only one set of them. her lack of willingness to let others look her in the eye leads to some discomfort in her conversational partners, for sure.

she's a big fan of pizza! to maximize her eating efficiency, she uses both mouths. on her home planet this is considered rude behavior- but seeing as earthians don't often come equipped with an extra chomper... well it's not really an etiquette rule she has to follow anymore!



who is she? - you're curious about me? i mean... sure, okay, this is pretty cool. we can talk! but, don't go around telling everyone what i told you, okay? i usually don't fill people in on these kind of details until... at least the sixth date. you can tell now this is -highly- confidential material, obviously, right? okay, good. well... to get the elephant out of the room, i'm an alien. yes! a real alien, stop staring at me like that. do you -want- me to show you my freaky stomach mouth? dude, it's wild. and it's also -definitely- alien. it's the truth! i requested permit to take up residence on earth and got it approved. it was a -long- process, but i think it was worth it... i've served so much of my time in the space force for my people that i just... i dunno, i got tired, and i got sick of not having a place to call home, sick of the high-stress environment of a space ship and outer space as a whole. you know, if you're not super duper mega careful all the time, you could get really hurt or worse. it was just an up-tight environment... and don't get me wrong i would -never- fault them for that, you absolutely -should- be that way in that environment!! i just didn't feel like it was a super great fit for me, y'know? i wanted to take things slower, to really enjoy being where i was, if that makes any sense?

space is absolutely stunning, it's a really gorgeous place! anyhow, yeah, i didn't get to see my home planet a lot, because you join the spaceship team early, and you go into a training program away from your family to prevent too much homesickness. if you don't have a home to be homesick for... well i suppose it does make sense! but for me personally i ended up longing for home anyway, and since i didn't have one i made one up-- here on earth i daydreamed about living a normal life for long enough that one day i put in the official notice. it took them a couple cycles to get a replacement for my position, but i wasn't anybody too high profile, so it wasn't a huge deal. and now i'm here! living the dream. it's actually pretty cool though, for real. i'm not being sarcastic. i like earth a lot!

your plants are really interesting, and the people are neat! i'm a big fan of all your living organisms, especially cats... i think cats are pretty great. well... what's some more information about me? my name's elizabeth but you can call me eliza... i'm a waitress at this cute local soup and sandwich store, we sell awesome paninis and our clam chowder is to -die- for (i would know, i have it every chance i get). i'm a food lover and i'm in a lot of cool blogs that recommend nice places to go eat- which is actually how i found my waitressing gig believe it or not! uhhhh... my favorite kind of pizza is hawaiian-- yes i know pineapple and pizza, it's a -bit- weird but hey, i am -also- a bit weird so it basically neutrals out-- but pepperoni is a close second if you aren't a fan, though if you want cheese pizza that -is- a dealbreaker to me because in my personal opinion life is too short not to want toppings!

oh, toppings--! I love froyo bars, you know, the little places where you make yourself a sundae? usually i don't like doing all the work (or i wouldn't have gone out to a restaurant, haha) but froyo bars are an exception because i can put -exactly- the correct amount of chocolate chips and m&ms in my sundae. for real! if you put too many in they get cold and hard before you can eat them, then they just hurt your teeth, but just the right amount adds crunch to your sundae -without- a broken tooth! my other interests include netflix- really anything on tv i'm willing to give a chance- watching cat videos on youtube, reading books- particularly romcoms or encyclopedias- and long walks on the beach.

i think that about does it for me! i like to think i'm a pretty relaxed person open to a lot of different possibilities, so i don't often box myself in with 'oh i only like this kind of food' or 'only this kind of movie'! if you have an adventure you'd like to go on, i'm probably the person who will go on it with you! i mean, why not right? life is wild, and i'm here to experience everything! except... maybe not bungee jumping. that sounds a little -too- extreme for me. wh--? don't give me that look! aliens can be scared of heights too, okay??

what's she like? - elizabeth is a laid-back, down-to-earth type personality who's content to spend her entire day in big cargo pants and a hoodie watching television with friends and snacking on the least healthy junk food she can find. she's big into bad movies, particularly the kind that are so bad they're hilarious, and sometimes even good. her favorite food of all time is pizza, and she personally thinks it is man's greatest invention. she's quite lethargic, not a huge fan of moving unless she must, but she's energetic at work where it counts so in her mind that gives her a pass to be as lazy as she wants the rest of the time.

she's a tomboy who prefers masculine fashion to feminine, but she does have a secret soft spot for tiny backpacks, which admittedly she thinks are extremely cute albeit totally impractical. she's the kind of person who feeds their quarters to sticker dispensers but never knows what to use the stickers on, instead collecting them for collecting's sake. her most valued possession is her bean bag chair, which she periodically uses as a gaming chair and makeshift bed depending on the circumstances. because of how grounded she is, she's a good friend to talk to when you really want someone to listen and hear you out. she likes giving advice, even though she feels she very rarely has any advice of particular value, but she's able to stay strong when people tell her hard things to process, and because of that she often serves as the rock to ground her friends in troubled times.

she also really likes her job, she thinks it's fun so she doesn't mind getting paid less- she thinks it's entertaining to meet so many different people from so many walks of life, and she takes personal pride in the fact that her customer service is impeccable and she can always make customers smile. she uses her limited social interactions to try and bring more joy to the world, even if it's mostly in subtle ways, because she's tired of all the negativity that's always surrounded her-- she just wants to have a good time, and ideally for everyone else to have a good time too. so, while life is often rough, elizabeth is always content to kick back with a pepperoni pizza and watch the worst horror movies imaginable.

it's her personal philosophy that, while people often can't make a huge change with their lives, the little things we do have a lot of impact-- so she tries every day to do as many little things as she can, while still of course being a lazy glutton. to her credit, she is a nice lazy glutton, at least.

i thought you said she was insecure? - she is, but she doesn't want you to know that! truth be told she chose to live on earth because the people look adjacent to her species, and it was the closest match they'd found for a relative for their own kind, though there were still noticeable differences. she didn't think these differences would be a huge deal- and usually they weren't! it was only she who was freaking out about them, so scared of being judged for being weird that she wouldn't let anyone else even get the chance to accuse her of being so.

that's how she ended up developing her sensational style of baggy hoodies to cover her second mouth and big hair to cover her face. she claims she does these things because it's comfortable- and that is true! it's more comfortable for her to hide than to be seen. but that doesn't mean it's not also anxiety inducing for her-- she worries about if the wind blows her hair just a biiit too much one way, that people would see her face and maybe be scared away. most people take her 'i'm an alien' confession as a conversational joke, and she plays it off that way- but honestly she does want someone to believe her. she tells people mostly so if it ever comes up in serious conversation she might be better equipped to handle the real deal.

she deeply wants to reveal her face and true history to someone, anyone else-- she just wants to finally be transparent, because not being able to kind of hurts her- it makes her feel like there's a wall of sorts between her and her human friends, and she wishes it wasn't there. she's still working towards being at a place where she's comfortable sharing that part of herself though, and until then, she's definitely insecure about it.




this is just one of her many casual-wear outfits! she's a big fan of hoodies, zip-up or pull-over... not that she can get the hood up over her mountain of hair, she's just a big fan of pockets!

[1] in elizabeth's alien species, everyone has a stomach mouth, it's not considered weird whatsoever, and it's culturally appropriate to eat with the stomach mouth and speak with the mouth on one's face. if one ingests food with the face mouth, it's considered disrespectful to the chef, and if one speaks with the stomach mouth, it's considered disrespectful to the listener.

[2] elizabeth never had junk food before heading to planet earth, but she still hasn't ballooned up after developing a junk food habit. this is because on the space station they ate super high calorie meals to remain warm and sustained in space! so her metabolism didn't undergo the same sort of shock it would have if, for example, she'd been on a low calorie diet beforehand.

[3] with her two top eyes she sees about the same as a normal keldine, but with all four eyes open she has a heightened vision which allows her to see colors completely unheard of to normal keldines. she's nickname these 'the alien colors' and usually only watches TV with her top two eyes because of this! i mean, earthling tv producers don't really expect to shoot for alien colors, so the shot composition and lighting just look weird with all her eyes.

[4] elizabeth isn't her real name! her real name is... well it's in a language nobody but elizabeth and her native race of aliens speak. the language looks like total gibberish to outsiders as it contains no vowels and a lot of symbols that are similar to earth letters, but also distinct. visually looking at it, it looks like a bunch of strangely written consonants, and spoken out loud it just sounds like disjointed sounds-- because of all this confusion, she just goes by elizabeth. native names are more often sentences expressing character or fate than a single word, for example her native name means something along the lines of 'one who is destined for greatness'-- considering the fact that elizabeth wants a stress-free normal life... she's happy to pick up a different name instead. greatness sounds like a real handful.

[5] elizabeth was selected at a young age for the space program because of her four eyes! children with four eyes have enhanced sight, so they're often chosen for jobs with particular fine details such as managing a spaceship or space station. because of this, elizabeth was picked young to be in the space department- she was qualified for the job, and her name really made her stand out. her parents were very proud. elizabeth wonders what they'd think of her if they saw her now... but she tries not to think about that much.

[6] she actually speaks a multitude of alien languages, and even a multitude of earthian ones! due to her position on the space craft, she often had to translate or otherwise manage conversations that were interrupted by a language barrier, this leading her to pick up many languages in order to communicate more effectively with more persons. after all, a couple second delay in response time could make or break a negotiation!

[7] her space station life wasn't just stressful because it was a super up-tight environment! they also had to fight off enemies near constantly, which really took a tole on elizabeth. she was sick and tired of wondering whether it would be space or raiders who killed her, instead opting to let junk food and caffeine take a go at it. which is to say, she thought life on earth would be comparably much safer than her space-faring ways, even though her space travels are considered much more interesting by some, elizabeth often invites these people to think about when the last time they had to worry about their own mortality was, and to take that bit into consideration too. compared to space battles... paying taxes is a total cake walk.

[8] elizabeth LOVES crop tops, but it's a guarded secret! she only wears them in her home, where she's comfortable letting her abnormalities show. it's just more comfortable not covering her second mouth with heavy cloth all day! it gets muggy and a touch hard to breathe, so she'd really prefer to have open air on her stomach if she can at all. this love for crop tops causes a bit of a divide in her wardrobe between 'home clothes' and 'going out clothes'.

[9] if you thought stickers were the only thing elizabeth collected, then you would be mistaken! elizabeth's home is completely decorated with half-collections such as these, where she takes a huge interest in something and is -super- obssessed with it for awhile, but then gets distracted by something else, creating a new shrine to this new obsession. this leads to her interior decorating being... well a little off the cuff, to say it nicely. on a good day it looks eccentric, maybe a touch retro and artsy, on a bad day it looks like a disorganized pile of junk, though elizabeth never thinks of it that way.




elizabeth LOVES a good terrible movie. one of her all time favorites is veloci-pastor... a movie about a priest who gets the ability to turn into a t-rex in order to fight crime with the help of his lady friend, an adult dancer doctor lawyer. she also loves bad alien movies that get all the information wrong, they really make her laugh! when she's alone at home she'll wear her crop tops and pj pants and dump whole bowls of pop corn into her stomach mouth. it's a quality good time.

The night was covering everything around while you were stepping carefully through the quiet forest. You had the sensation that someone is following you for a while, but you tried to convince yourself that is only your imagination. Looking around from time to time, you were almost sure you were all alone until you stepped in a large meadow. In the middle, a silhouette was sitting unmoved. At the sight of it, you flinched and prepared to run, but a melodious laughter stopped you from doing so.
The silhouette approached, until you could distinguish clearly a Keldine brightened in the moonlight. Her face was covered by a long and beautiful hair, yet she seemed innocent and friendly.
"Why are you so shocked? You haven't seen my face yet" smiled her. "I'm Lilith, nice to meet ya!"
But the mouth from her abdomen was saying a totally different thing. "Oh it's harmless I can assure you"
Still wary, let her approaching slowly. Then, she revealed her face.
You immediately noticed that she was unusually beautiful. A pair of turquoise eyes was fixing you. Her head was crowned by feathers, and a simple tiara with a shiny gemstone. Two horns were decorating her head and one more, her nose. Her head wings fluttered enthusiastically when she saw you admiring her.
"Why are you covering your face?" you asked, yiu have nothing to hide.
Lowering her ears with disappointment, Lilith replied. "I have nothing to hide, that is true, but the beauty can also become a curse in a heartbeat. Also, to tell you honest, the black magic I am practicing isn't taken kindly by the others. I am considered a suspicious apparition so I get avoided in most of the cases. But all I want is a friend, because I'm always alone ."
