Shelter For Angels, Pet Adoption Agency- thats what we're all about! We try to give pets found on the streets or in tough situations a second chance at happiness through forms and filing to see who fits with who best. Some slip through our hands and decide to take their lives out into the wilds, but we always at the least have tried to help them. Come give some of these furry friends a new home to stay in! ♥

Pet's Shelter Story wrote:This gorgeous young cat walked straight up to the doors of the shelter! They seem fairly friendly and have a good temperament. I wonder where they came from?

Username - dino cat
Name - Pheonix
Gender - Female
Storage Thread - Blue-Mount Ranch
Pet or Stray? - Pet
Collar/Harness - Blue with a single white stripe down the middle
Prompt - The harsh sun was high in the sky, burning the forest happily from its safe perch. Pheonix wandered through the trees ready for the hunt to really begin. A young girl was sitting next to a bush crying. She was getting louder and Pheonix knew that she would scare away all of the prey. Frantically Pheonix looked around. Finally she wandered up to her and pressed her head against her sweaty wet palm. Before she knew it Pheonix was flipped upside down in the girls arms as she ran through the woods. He struggled, trying to get out. Then it was cold. A small bowl of water and a plate with tuna was placed in front of him. A larger dainty hand was on her back as he ate. She liked it here. It was cooler than that cruel smoldering forest and he had food just placed in front of her. The days were shorter and more pleasant. The food became harder but it was an easy life. She also got pets and loves from the girl and her mom.
We're a system. We will most often sign off with who's fronting.

Ahhhh, forgot to post it! Hope it's not too late? Not sure if it ended today or today is the last day to enter? Sorry if it is late ;u;

Pet or Stray? - Pet
Collar/Harness - Deep red collar :>
Prompt -

When living on the street, all cats leant from a young age that humans are not to be trusted. Stories of being trapped and stolen spread through them like a forest fire of whispers. However, Conker had never liked gossip. His mother had taught him that things are often misunderstood and exaggerated. Trusting in his mother's wisdom, the tom set out to judge the humans once and for all.

Prowling the dusky streets, it was easy for him to melt into the surroundings. There! He felt his heart sink. The rumours of being trapped seemed to be true. A young kitten was mewling pitifully, one leg held up awkwardly as a human picked up the cage and placed it in their monster. Unwilling to cast judgment yet, the fluffy cat set off, lungs burning as he raced to keep them in sight.

Just when he thought he would collapse, it halted outside a rather warm looking building. Picking a low hanging bush, the tom scraped together a small nest and settled down, eyes on the door.

A purr roused him from sleep. Oh! The kitten from the day before was being cradled in a small human's arm, purring happily. Its leg was concealed in a strange material, similar to how some cats would fix legs with sticks and bindweed. The human's weren't stealing her, they wanted to help! And now... She's not alone on the streets.

Eyes twinkling with excitement, he padded right up to the doors of the building and let out a loud, friendly meow.

It's amazing what a little research can reveal.
